V. I'm doing this for us

The alarm clock starts ringing and you wake up all of a sudden. You turn around and find out that Shawn is not there.
You think he's in the washroom but no...you try to call him but no answer.

Then you find a note on the table:
"Hey honey sorry but I had an important meeting and I didn't get the time to say bye, please don't be sad I'm doing this for us believe me, love you"

Y/N: "I'm doing this for us"...what are you doing for us that doesn't leave a little time for that "us"?!

Shawn has been very busy lately and he's avoiding you everytime you ask something related to his work...
He seems someone else...lost in his thoughts and in himself...
It's your anniversary today but he seems to have forgotten that too...

Y/N: I have no idea about what you're doing Shawn, but I trust you.

You get ready and leave. After office you decide to get some flowers and some chocolate for the occasion.

As you open the door and turn the lights on rose petals shower on you, then suddenly a choir screams "Happy anniversary!!!"

Shawn comes out from nowhere and kisses you...his soft lips on yours warm your whole body...

S: Happy anniversary darling!

Y/N: You didn't forget?

S: How could I? This is the day when I promised you to be by your side, support and love you for the rest of my life...how could I forget this?

You smile and hug him tightly.

S: and sorry to pretend like ignoring you babe, I know you felt bad but believe I was feeling worse..won't do this again promise...
You smile while tears start rolling over your cheeks...you couldn't handle them anymore...

Shawn wipes them up with his thumbs and kisses your forehead.

Someone puts music on and Shawn stars dancing with you...for a while you forget everything and just enjoy that moment: the moment of joy, the moment of love...
