Helen: yoo gurl! You free this afternoon? We're meeting up at the gym!

Y/N: yup will be there on time!

You say bye to your friends and go home.

In the afternoon you get ready for gym and leave. You've been very stressed lately and your mind needs a break...

You decide to take a quiet street; it takes longer but you have time and you need calm and fresh air.

Someone suddenly calls you from behind, when you turn around you see Shawn...your ex-boyfriend

S: Wassup, babygirl? Long time no see hun?

Y/N: Not much actually, what about you?
Lookin' handsome hun!

S: I always do!

Y/N: ahahahahaha

You and Shawn had a mischievous and cute relationship...the one everyone dreams of...you guys were friends in the first place, then partners and that's what made everything even more comfy...

Y/N: so how's your new babygirl?
S: ahahahahaha you think I'd call you "babygirl" if I had a new one?!

You also didn't get into anyone after your breakup...it was something you had to do...not what you really wanted, not what your heart wanted...

You pass across a group of guys intent of smoking and drinking

?: uhh look at that! What a hot and spicy item!

You realise they were indicating you...you get nervous and irritated...
Suddenly you feel Shawn taking your hand and holding it tight

?: wanna come hottie? It's very hot isn't it? Let's have a shower together, you and us uuuh

The other guys start laughing

You feel Shawn leaving your hand and all of a sudden he's on those boys...

S: What did you say hun? HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO HER? SHE'S MY GIRL OK? SHE'S MY LOVE, MY WORLD MY EVERYTHING, HOW THE FUC* YOU DARE?!

He starts punching that guy's face so hard that his hand start bleeding...

S: YOU BASTAR*! I'M GONNA KILL YOU...

The other guys are finally able to separate the two: they apologise and leave, with the friend who fainted.

When Shawn turns around he's shaking...you look at each other's eyes and tears start rolling on your cheeks...

You run to him and kiss him...when your lips touch his, all your stress is gone...
You kiss for a loong time...

That kiss tasted like oxygen after a long time feeling suffocated...you felt relieved and in the right place...

Y/N: why didn't you look for me if you still loved me?

S: you also didn't...you also still love me, don't you?

Y/N: never stopped and never will...

S: the situation teared us apart...it won upon our heart...

Y/N: this time our hearts will win...

Shawn smiles and nods...then he gently puts a lock of your hair behind your ear and kisses your forehead...

You hug him tightly and hide your face in his chest...his scent starts driving you crazy and gives butterflies in your stomach...the ones you missed for all this time...
