XI. It's us, it's our love

You and Shawn recently moved out together; after 4 years of relationship you were more than ready to start a new chapter of your life!

It was very tought to convince your parents and they let you on the only condition, that this should not affect on your studies.
You're studying medicine cause you've always wanted to be a doctor, a dream that is tough to make true but still doesn't scare you enough to make you quit.

Your new life has been amazing! You spent some nights waiting for Shawn cause he was late, other nights cuddling with him cause his body was your safe place and not to mention the nights you actually spent together...

This morning Shawn has gone at the studio, but he has promised that he'll come for lunch, so you're preparing his favourite dish.

As you look at the calender you realise you haven't got your periods this month...it could have been late but 3 weeks was too late, especially for yours, cause they have always been regular on point

You get a bit nervous, but you push away the idea of a pregnancy because you know you guys have always used protections.
Y/N: *it may just be a bit late*

Shawn gets home and you two have lunch together

S: I'm never EVER gonna stop saying that you're the best cook on earth!

Y/N: No Shawn ahahah your mum will mind

S: Oops, yeah true she's great, but this is actually too delicious hmmm

You laugh as you see him humming while eating with his eyes closed.

As you have a bite you start feeling bad, Shawn notices it

S: Hey love, are you ok?

Y/N: Oh yeah, don't worry I'm fine. Shawn I need to go out, need some medicine, I'll be back in a while ok?

S: Medicine? For what? Shall I come? Are you ok? I'm coming

Y/N: NO SHAWN you don't have to, im ok

S: You sure?

Y/N: yeah babe, I am. See you soon!
You say bye to Shawn and leave. You run to the nearest pharmacy and buy two pregnancy tests.

As you get home you see Shawn laying on the couch and watching tv while eating the last two muffins

S: Hey babe, everything fine?

Y/N: Totally!

You smile and go straight to the bathroom.

You do the test and do it again just to be sure; You can't believe in your eyes...tears start rolling out of you eyes and you fall on the ground

S: Baby? What was that noise? Are you ok? Pls babe talk I'm getting worried

Shawn starts knocking the door heavily, but you can't find the energy to say something.

S: I'm coming in!

Shawn gets the spare keys and gets in
As he sees you sitting on the ground he gets scared, he sits near you and puts his hand on your shoulder

S: What's wrong Y/N? Love pls tell me I can't see you like this

Y/N: I'm pregnant...

S: What?...

Tears start showering out of your eyes and a scream tries to get our of your chest but it turns out to be a moan

Y/N: What am I gonna do now? I'm only 19, I haven't finished my studies yet, I haven't got established yet, you are still at the very begining of your career , we just moved out and I haven't even got to build a home! What am I gonna do now, all my dreams, my aims, everything has been destroyed!

Shawn is staring at the floor, he doesn't look at you for once...

S: Baby...don't you...want to keep it?

Y/N: Shawn...I am going to keep it, at the cost of my life, I can't let it die, it's a part of me and a part of you! It's us, it's our love, our very little moment, our happinesses and our sorrows, it's me and you and our story...I don't know if you're gonna stay or not Shawn and I can totally understand if you're just not ready to have a family yet, but I can't let it go...

S: You really think gonna run away from my responsabilities? In fact this isn't even a metter of responsabilities, it's about life, your life, my life, our child's life!
I know it's a very tough situation baby especially for you, cause you're the one who will get affected the most, but I'm glad you're still not afraid and want to carry on. Baby, whatever decision you'd have taken I would have supported you no metter what!
And now that we're gonna actually start a new journey, you're never gonna be alone to handle this...I'll always be by your side and by the side of our new joy! I promise we'll be the happiest, the cutest and the sweetest family ever! You'll be the cutest and hottest mom on earth and I'll be the coolest and the most handsome dad on earth aand our baby will be the coolest kid of the whole damn universe! I'm gonna love him or her more than you, for sure, so don't get jelous;)

Y/N: Ahahahah I won't! I'm so lucky to have you in my life Shawn! You're the sun to my world and I can't even think about my world without you!

S: And DON'T YOU EVEN DARE to think about it! My world will always be lit up by her handsome sun!
