feeling unwell

Chris's pov

It had been two weeks since Luca found out about me and Street I was so relieved with how well he took finding out about us. Because Luca knew it made it easier for me and Street to be together and it felt good to tell someone about us but we still hadn't figured anything out on what to do about the rest of the team. We were just so happy at the minute I didn't want it to change.

I woke up in Streets bed he was still asleep he looked so peaceful. I ran my finger down his shoulder and moved a little closer to him. A smile formed on his face but his eyes were still closed. I knew he was awake, I kissed his cheek and tried to make my way out of the bed. I felt his hand grab mine and pull me back down to the bed. He cupped my face and pressed his lips against mine. It was a great way to start the morning.
"If your going to wake me up better do it right" Street said smiling still kissing me.
"You know we both have a shift to start at some time of the day" I said not wanting to move from him. "I know" Street said.
He smiled at me and kept me close to him it just felt so good being in his arms. He started teasing me and making me laugh. "Street come on we can't" I said even though I wanted too. I wanted to give in to him all the time and most of the time I couldn't help myself. Being around him was like a high. We were getting very carried away and didn't realise what time it was until we heard a knock on the door. "Come on you two we need to be at hq in half an hour" Luca shouted.
Me and Street looked at each other and laughed slightly embarrassed I felt like I just got caught by a brother.
We got up and got dressed and made our way out the room. "Sorry Luca" I said slightly blushing in embarrassment. "Yeh I'm sorry Luca this is your place I guess we forget where we are sometimes" Street said. "Hey guys don't worry about it like I said before I'm happy to see yous both happy, we should make a move to hq though" Luca said. "Yeh um I'll head out now and meet yous there sorry again Luca" I said and made my way to the door kissing Street as I left.

I just made it to hq and made my way to the locker room Nora Fowler was already there. Nora and I had became close the past few weeks I was helping her through swat academy I felt guilty over not speaking to her much when she first joined swat as a medic but we had become friends now. She made it through to the academy and she was starting her first day which was amazing for me to hear it's good to see more women in swat as I've been the only one besides Erica who was one of the best officers and one of the best person I've ever met. I still miss her what happened to her was so unfair but I know she'll never be forgotten here at swat or anywhere else. I was just happy to see Nora making it through to swat even though she was going to give up at one point it was good to see she made it through.
"Hey Nora nervous about your first day" I asked as I made my way to my locker.
"Yeh I don't think I've been this excited since son was born" Nora said. "Well I don't think anything could compare to that how's your son doing" I asked. "He's good he loves his school and is doing well. He's getting good at arguing with me though probably lawyer material" Nora joked.
I started sorting out my uniform in my locker and I suddenly became lightheaded and my mouth filled with water. I ran to the sink in the locker room and was sick. I ran the tap washed my face and the sink. 
"Sorry Nora I have no idea where that came from guess I ate something funny" I apologized.
"Don't worry about it maybe you should take the day off if your not feeling well" Nora said.
"No I'm fine besides I don't want to miss your first day" I said.
I got some gum out of my locker when the door opened and Luca and Street came in.
"Hey Nora good luck on your first day" Luca said making his way to his locker and fist bumping Nora as made her way out. "Yeh good luck" Street said.
Nora made her way out. "Hey you ok you look a little pale" Street asked me as he walked past to his locker. "Yeh I'm fine come on don't want to be late" I said and made my way out of the locker room.

Street's pov

It was morning and I woke up at Chris's place. I reached out but Chris wasn't there. I got up and put on my trousers on. "Chris" I called out when I heard Chris being sick in the bathroom. I knocked on the door. "Hey Chris you okay in there" I said and tried the door handle but it was locked. "Yeh Street don't come in I'm fine" Chris said. "Are you sure is there anything I can do" I said. I heard her run the tap and she came out of the bathroom. "Your sweet but I'm fine come on we got to get ready for work" Chris said. "No Chris I think you should stay home" I said as she walked past me to get ready. "Street I'm fine"
"Chris please come on call in sick I'll back you up with Hondo and the rest of the team" I said. "Street I'm fine seriously" Chris said. I put my hands on her shoulders and looked into her eyes. "Hey can you stop being stubborn for like a minute please" I said. She smiled at me. "Ok you know just because your my boyfriend doesn't mean you get to tell me what to do" Chris said smiling. "Ha well you boss me about plenty" I kissed her head "just get some rest ok" I said.
"Ok be safe at work ok" Chris said
"Always I'll come back here when I Finnish to check in on you".
"Ok see you then"
I hugged her and kissed her cheek and made my way to the door. "Bye" we both said, I left and made my way to work.

At hq
I was sorting through some of the gear in the armoury and Nora walked in and returned her guns she used on her mission. "Hey Nora how was your first shift" I asked. "Yeh great I'm exhausted now though" Nora said. "That's the job title, it's good to see you at swat I know it certainly makes Chris happy to see you here" I said. "Yeh I kind of owe it to her and Luca without the pair of them I wouldn't have made it onto swat where is Chris anyways I haven't seen her today" Nora asked. "She wasn't feeling well this morning so she decided to take the day off she should be back tommorrow." I said. "Oh she's still not well" Nora said. "What do you mean" I asked. "Um she was a bit unwell yesterday morning just as shift was starting I told her to go home but she said she was fine and she was unwell agin today" Nora said. "Yeh probably I'll check in on her later" I said. "Ok I'm gunna head home see you tommorrow" Nora said and made her way out. I just kept thinking about Chris I hope she was feeling better soon.

Chris's pov

I'd been at home all day. I was feeling better than this morning I don't know what was wrong with me lately. I was about to make myself a coffee and there was a knock on my door.
"One second" I shouted
I went to the door and opened it and Nora was stood there.
"Hey come on in" I said
"How are you feeling Street said you feeling unwell again this morning" Nora said.
"I'm fine really it's just a stomach bug or something" I said but Nora had a look on her face like she knew something. "Seriously I'm fine"
"Listen Chris I don't mean to over step" Nora said
"What are you talking about"
"What you think is a stomach bug sounds a bit like morning sickness to me" Nora said
"Ok I don't know what you've been taking but if I were pregnant I'd think I'd know about it" I said and walked away.
"Come on Chris you said it yourself your unwell on the morning but then your alright through the day." Nora said
"Look I know your a doctor and stuff but I highly doubt it" I said and shook my head.
"Ok prove me wrong" Nora said and pulled out a pregnancy test from her bag.
"Fine if it solves this then I will" I took the test and went to the bathroom. I did all the instructions and I had to wait the 2 minutes. It wasn't till then when it hit me what if it was positive. Everything would change. What would I do about it. "Whatever happens I'm sure you'll figure things out I'm here for you and I'm sure the whole of your team will be as well." Nora said. "Ok now I'm paranoid I can't look at it" I shook my head "you look". Nora looked at the test and looked at me. "Chris um ... It's positive".
