Chris' pov

I just told the team it was a wait lifted off my shoulders Street held my hand and was practically glowing when I announced that I was pregnant.

"Oh my god are you serious" Luca gasped and made his way towards me and Street wrapping his arms around us.
"Yeh positive"
"That's great it is great right" Hondo asked
"Yeh it's amazing" I said and the whole team lit up.
"Yeh unexpected obviously but I don't think I could be happy than I am right now" Street said putting his arm around me.
"Wow you guys this is incredible who would of ever thought you two having a kid together" tan teased.

"Yeh if you told me this is where I was going to be 5 years ago I definitely wouldn't of believed it" I said
"Oh come on you always loved me" Street said

"Oh sure I did" I joked and the whole team laughed.
"Well either way we still got here"
"Yeh you two practically glow when your around each other even before you two got together" Luca shared
"We should of all put a bet on when this was going to happen" tan joked.

"I think we are all glad to see you both happy with each other you both deserve it you guys fit together" deac said and everyone smiled in agreement.

"Thanks you guys and I know we've got a long road ahead right now but knowing that you all now know is lot more comforting" I said.
"Yeh don't have to sneak around" street whispered in my ear and slightly elbowed him hoping no one heard what he said but they clearly did.
The team spent the rest of the night at my apartment, the night was filled with the joking around and teasing me and Street about the roller coaster of the past 5 years that's now brought us to where we are.
Slowly everyone went home leaving me and Street.

Street's pov

I was so glad that the team now knew everything not that I didn't like sneaking around but now I wouldn't feel a little guilty about it now. Best part is I now get to show off the best thing I have in my life. Chris she is my life my whole world and I can't wait for us to bring a child into it.

I was standing in ore of her lost in my thoughts.
"Everything alright" Chris asked.
She walked towards me and I held her in my arms.
"Yeh I just really love you" I said and kissed her forehead.
"I love you too" Chris said and kissed me.
"But this mess isn't going to clean itself."
"Yes mam"
"I told you don't call me that"
"Aha ok I'll stop" I said and hugged her from behind and kissed her neck.
"We have to clean this mess up" Chris said
"Ok" I said continuing teasing her
"Come on the quicker the mess is cleaned the quicker we can go to bed" Chris said lazily trying to separate us.
"Erh ok" I said and we started to clean the mess from the night.

We cleaned in a hurry and made our way to bed but I was ready to tell Chris something I think I know a solution to our problem.

We were layed in bed and I had my arm around Chris who was snuggled in next to me.
"Hey can I run something by you"
"Sure you can anything" Chris worried on what I was going to say.
"I think I have a solution to our problem"
"Oh do tell your always the one with the ideas" she smiled.
"I was thinking obviously we aren't on the same team anymore" I said and Chris sighed in disappointment.
"I know but your not out on the field till you have the baby. But after that you'll want to be back out there. So I was thinking of maybe leaving swat"
"Wait what" Chris said and sat up.
"You know to be with the baby, I thought a lot about my own childhood since I found out we were going to have a kid and you know I just want to be better than my family" I said
"Yeh but you love swat just as much as me we would be in the baby's life and do the job"
"I know but I think I would be more happier raising our kid and besides I couldn't be a part of any other team especially one without you in it"
"I can't let you leave swat for me you love it too much, it's made you the man you are today"
"I wouldn't be leaving for you I'd be doing it for me and having a life that I never had as a kid I want to be a better father than my own and I think this is what I want to do with my life" I said and sat up to Chris
"Look you are the best thing that's ever happened to me not the job and getting to who I am today you have more to do with that than swat you believed in me when nobody else did. I want to do this and if it's alright with you it's what I'm going to do"

Chris came towards me "I think I just fell for you more, your always good with the speeches" she said and a tear fell from her face with joy.
"I think it's a beautiful idea and pitchuring it now it all seems to fall into place. And you are already hundred times the father yours was and your going to be amazing when this baby comes" Chris said and we laid back down wrapped in each other.

"No we are going to be amazing when this baby comes. I'll just teach her or him jokes when your not their" I joked.
"Oh god this kids going to be a mini you aren't they" Chris laughed.
We were both laughing at the thought.
"Aha a kid with my humor and your beauty" I said and started kissing her.
"Oh that's all I bring to the table" Chris said
"Not at all" said between kisses " your good heart, your patience, your kindness, your love I could go on" I said as I continued to kiss her now hovering over her stomach.

"No you can stop the list but keep doing the other thing"
Chris laughed
"See she's always bossing me around baby"
"Ok I'm pretty sure he or she is the size of a bean at the minute so I'm pretty sure they can't hear you"
We laughed and I kissed her belly then made my way back up to her side.

"I'm going to book an appointment tommorrow for a scan I don't even know how many weeks I am or anything"
"I wish I could take a guess but we never really stopped" I said and Chris nugged my arm.
We laughed and started messing around. I held Chris and she fitted herself comfortably next to me.

I don't know when but we must have fell asleep as we woke up the next morning in the same position.
"Morning" Chris said and gave me a quick peck
"I'm going to call for that scan this morning"
"Yeh just let me know what they say and I'll come with you" I said we smiled and hung onto each other not wanting to move.

"You know to book an appointment usually requires to get out of bed" I joked
"Urmm like you want me to move"
After a while we managed to get up from the bed, Chris headed to the bathroom to get ready. When she came out she reached for her phone.
"Oh Annie's text guess deacon told her the news." She said
"Oh yeh what she say"
"She's congratulating us and sent me the phone number of her midwife, I'm going to call the number now"
"Ok I'm going go make us some pancakes" I said and she have out a little laugh.
"What"
"The way your going this baby is going to be the biggest one yet"
"Is that a bad thing"
"For me yes I'm the one that's going to have to give birth"
We both laughed
"So does that mean you don't want pancakes" I asked
"I didn't say that" Chris smiled and started making the call as I went to the kitchen.

Chris' pov

I made my way to street who was making the apartment smell amazing with his cooking.
"Hey you sorted with the nurse"
"Yeh she can see us this afternoon"
"Wow that was fast okay do we need to take anything or um do want me to drive" street was rambling, I made my way towards him.
"Hey slow down"
"Sorry I know I'm I don't know nervous I guess"
"It's ok kind of cute actually" I said and brought him towards me.
"Everythings just becoming real for the both of us" I told him
"You scared"
"I'm terrified but I can't wait"
