My mom leaves soon after and wishes me good luck, but from what I heard on the phone, I'm not sure if luck will be enough.

I put the address Kirishima gave me into my car's gps and put one of my Spotify playlists on.

I immediately start jamming out to some Blackpink.

I arrive at the hero agency and I'm trembling with nerves.

I head into the building, and the nice receptionist there tells me to go up to the 6th floor. I do exactly that and when the elevator doors take me up there, the first thing I hear is "GET OFF OF ME!"

What the-

What's going on?

I get off and slowly start walking along the hallway, I head towards the sound, and I immediately see a blond guy fighting with a red-haired bulky dude. I look at them with a confused look and I tilt my head to the side, I watch them struggle for a little while and the blond guy manages to put the other in a chokehold.

I finally speak up and ask, "Are you guys ok?"

They both turn to me, barely realizing that I was there, and the red-haired guy gets out of the blond's death grip and waltzes right up to me. "Hi! You must be (Y/n) Sato, it's so nice to meet you."

I recognize his voice from the phone. He reaches his hand towards me and I gently shake it, "Yup, that's me. You must be Kirishima."

He smiles back, "Ya, and thank you for coming in today, I know it was sort of last minute."

"It's ok, I'm happy to help."

As soon as the words leave my mouth, the blond comes over to us and says, "Ya, well we don't need it." All the while looking at me with a disgusted look on his face.

Jeez, how could he hate me this quickly?

Kirishima quickly addresses it, "Don't listen to him, we definitely need your help. Oh, and this is Bakugou Katsuki. He's the owner of this hero agency."

Oh-ho, I was not expecting that.

But, wait, if he owns this hero agency and he doesn't want my help, then why am I even here?

I ignore all the questions that pop up in my head and instead try to be as nice to him as possible. He is my new boss after all.

"Ok, well it's nice to meet you Bakugou-san." I bow slightly, hoping this'll make me a little more likable in his eyes.

But alas, it doesn't.

He just clicks his tongue in annoyance and walks out of the room. I turn to Kirishima and he notices my surprised look. He gives me a soft smile and says "He's like that with everyone, don't take it personally."

I just nod and then he says, "Follow me."

He leads me out of the room and we take a few turns and stop when he reaches a black door with the words "Interrogation Room" on it. I immediately smile and he notices the change in my mood. "Excited?"

I answer with the biggest smile on my face, and I fervently nod, "Mh-hm, I love this part."

He opens the door for me and Bakugou is already there sitting down with a folder in his hands, reading it intently. He doesn't even acknowledge us entering the room.

I look around and see a huge one-way window to my right. I stand right in front of it and see someone handcuffed to a metal table. He has short, black hair, huge bags under his eyes, and is currently leaning back with his eyes closed. I turn around only to find Bakugou staring right at me. I look away as quickly as I can and instead lock eyes with Kirishima. So I ask him, "Is this the guy you want me to question?"

Kirishima cooly replies, "Ya," then walks up to Bakugou, snatches the file right out of his hands, and gives it to me, "Here's his file."

Bakugou looks like he wants to murder Kirirshima for doing that, but he surprisingly doesn't say anything. So, I take the file and start reading it.

They both watch as I skim over the material.

The criminal's name is Homura Nakamura, 27 years old, he can hack into any system and database using his quirk.

I absentmindedly hum as I glance over his previous arrests. Nothing but robberies, the most recent one being two days ago. But this doesn't really explain why I'm here.

He doesn't seem all that dangerous to me.

I flip through the pages till I see that Nakamura is rumored to be the financial advisor of The Trickster.

My eyes widen.

One of the most infamous villains in Tokyo. He's respected and feared in the underworld. The Trickster was responsible for the bombing in Shibuya a while back. It killed over 300 people, including 5 heroes.

He's bad news.

I tear my gaze away from the papers, "So you want me to see if has any information regarding The Trickster?"

Both men look at each other with raised eyebrows, then go back to looking at me.

I furrow my eyebrows at their strange reaction, "Did I say something wrong?" I ask them.

Kirishima answers, "No, we're just surprised that you figured it out that quickly."

"Oh," I reply, "so can I go in?" I know Kirishima will say yes, but he's not the one I'm worried about.

Bakugou gets up from the couch, walks over to me, and stands close enough for me to smell his cologne. I barely meet his eye level with my heels, so if I hadn't worn them today he would've been looking down on me.

Damn bastard.

Bakugou stares me down, then the asshole has the audacity to actually smirk, "If you don't get any information out of him, you're fucking screwed."

What the-

Are you kidding me right now?

He leans away and looks at me like I'm the shit on his shoe.

Nu-uh.

Not happening.

I'll be damned if he keeps on talking to me like this.

So I copy his exact moves and smirk back, "As soon as I get the information, you're gonna get on your knees and fucking apologize."

I lean away, tilt my head to the side, and with the sweetest voice I have, I say "Mmkay pumpkin?"

Bakugou looks like he's gonna fucking explode and start yelling obscenities when Kirishima claps his hands together and says "OK! Let me take you to the other room, (Y/n)."

He guides me out and I find myself with renewed vigor for getting the job done.

It's actually kinda funny.

I don't think I've ever been this excited for something as simple as a little questioning.

Looks like cocky blond assholes are a pretty good motivator for me.

Fan-fucking-tastic.
