How the fuck did I get into this situation?

Bakugou promised I wouldn't get hurt. Yet here I am, on the fucking ground holding my head. "Oi! I thought you said you wouldn't let me die!" I yell at the blond.

Bakugou lifts me off the floor, not gently might I add, and says "Stop being fucking dramatic! You just crashed into the pole! Pay attention to where you're walking, dumbass." He rolls his eyes and holds his head as if he's got a headache.

I pout at him, "Ya, well I told you I couldn't do this, I'm a danger to myself and others, I should just head back to the office. In fact, why don't I just meet you there." I quickly turn around to make a getaway, but before I take two steps, Bakugou grabs the collar of my shirt, turns me around, and says "You're not going anywhere, pumpkin." He smirks at me, while I give him my best pissed-off face.

We're out patrolling the streets, waiting for something big to happen, so I can touch some villains.

Eww, that sounds wrong.

Gross.

We've been out patrolling for 3 hours, and nothing has happened! I'm so bored! My only source of entertainment is Bakugou, and annoying him was fun for the first hour, but after a while, even I got annoyed. "Ugh, nothing's happening, can we please go?" I beg Bakugou, but he just keeps on walking and ignores me.

Ugh, why couldn't I go with Eijiro?

At least he makes me laugh.

I cross my arms and loudly sigh, completely annoyed with Bakugou. "This is so boring. Is this what you do all day? God, being a hero is so overrated."

That seems to set the blond off because he whirls around, looms closer, and yells, "God, just shut the fuck up already! We're out here because of you, if you had never come to Tokyo, we would've never been in this situation!"

I scoff in his face. He's so full of shit, I'm surprised pigs can't smell it.

If I wasn't here they wouldn't even know about Kaito. So I roll my eyes and say, "Feel better now?"

He calms down a little and replies, "Ya."

We go back to walking and this time I keep my mouth shut. But surprisingly he doesn't.

"You're not the only one who's fucking bored. But if we want to get these fuckers, we just have to be patient." I look at him, and he just looks forward, not meeting my eyes.

Mmmmh, so he actually does have a brain in there?

Before I can reply, we hear a huge explosion a few streets behind us. Everybody starts screaming around us, and we see smoke and fire rising over the buildings. Bakugou grabs me, puts me on his back, and yells "Hold on!"

"Wait, what are you doing?"

He answers me by shooting small explosions out of his hands and flying off in the direction of the fire.

I hold on to him for dear life and feel his muscles through his costume. Hmm, they're harder than I thought they would be.

Oh my god!

Jeez (y/n) stop thinking about his damn muscles, snap out of it!

I shake my head, trying to get the image of his toned muscles out of my mind until I feel him yank me off his back and instead grab my gloved hand. We stop at the corner of the block, watching the scene around us unfold.

He speaks into his wrist, which I'm guessing has a pretty small communication device, and lets Kirishima know where we are. As he's talking to him, I see 3 men and 2 women using their quirks to stop the building from collapsing.

When I focus on their actions, I realize they're not trying to stop it, they're trying to make it fall even faster! Those are the villains! I'm about to tell Bakugou, but he already knows who they are.

He looks at me, worry evident on his face, and tells me, "Let's go."

My eyes widen when he throws me on his back again, and we explode towards the 5 villains.

The villains don't notice us as they keep wrecking the buildings around them. We head to the one closest to us, I take off my gloves, stuff them in my back pocket, and reach for the villain. Bakugou flies by the first villain, close enough for me to touch him. I lightly graze the back of the villain's neck and immediately I see everything.

We fly away as I still process all the information, I look for any sign of Kaito or the Trickster and I come up empty.

"Crap! He didn't know anything!" I yell at Bakugou and I hear him say, "Shit."

He stops behind the building, looking for the closest villain before he detonates his hands again. From the corner of my eye, I see a woman with humungous boobs and a hammer for a hand. Oh my, that's . . . unique.

She begins running towards us and I scream, "Bakugou, on your left!!"

He sees her and flies off in her direction, with me still clinging to his back like a damn monkey.

I want to close my eyes, but I can't, I need to be sharp in case an opportunity to touch her comes.

Bakugou sets off an explosion in her face, but she backs up before it can do any real damage. Her hammer grows and she swings it at us. Bakugou gets out of the way in time, but she keeps on swinging with such impeccable speed that all Bakugou can do is dodge.

He's able to get behind her and kick her in the head with all his strength. The kick makes her stumble a bit, and she tries to get something from her pocket, but Bakugou got to her before she could take it out and detonated both of his hands right in her face. She passes out and falls on her back.

I get off of Bakugou's back and lean down to touch my hand to her forehead, I immediately get everything she knows. But once again, she doesn't know anything about Kaito. I sigh and look up at Bakugou, "Nothing again."

But before I stand back up, I glance over to her pocket and wonder what she was trying to grab before she got knocked out. I put my hand in her pocket and feel a little tablet. I take it out and see that it's a pill. My eyes widen and I show it to Bakugou, "She was going to take this pill! This is how they were committing suicide!"

He nods, "Ya come on, let's get you to the other villains." He puts me on his back again, making sure not to touch my skin, and begins to look for the next villain. But instead of going for the closest one, Bakugou heads for the leader of the bunch - a huge man with no physical characteristics that give us any sign of what his quirk might be.

Bakugou and I hide behind a dumpster and we watch the completely normal guy for a few seconds, hoping he'll show off his quirk. We watch him walk to one of the buildings and place both of his hands on the exterior. Ok, here it comes. His hands start to glow a bright orange and lava comes out of his hands! He's melting the beams of the building to make it tip over.

It starts to tilt and I watch in horror as it begins to fall this way. Right on top of me and Bakugou.

Bakugou detonates his hands at an alarming speed that my neck jerks back from the sudden acceleration. We get away from the building before it can crush us and we both watch as it falls and demolishes everything in its path. Dust and debris fly by us, destroying the entire street in its wake. The huge man then laughs at the sight and yells, "Ya baby! Now that's what I'm talking about!"

His back is facing us, so we try and get behind him like we did with the first villain, but he hears Bakugou's explosions and begins spewing lava in our direction. I feel the immense heat of it and can't stop myself from screaming and holding onto Bakugou tighter. He swerves out of the way in time, but it's no use. We can't get close to him.

Then a red-haired miracle comes in and saves the day. While Mr. Lava was preoccupied with us, Kirishima came up behind and knocked him to the ground. Mr. Lava tries to fight back but Bakugou detonates 5 explosions in his face, effectively knocking him out for good.

Kirishima worriedly asks us, "Are you guys ok?"

We both nod and I slide off Bakugou's back and head towards Mr. Lava. I press my hand to his forehead and I get everything.

I smile and look up at Bakugou, "I know The Trickster's plan."
