Did I hear him correctly?

Am I hallucinating?

Did I hit my head harder than I thought?

I look at Bakugou, disbelief written all over my face. He turns to me and gives me a small smile that I assume is meant to reassure me. Then returns to look Endeavor in the eye, "After all, I am the Number 2 Hero, soon to be Number 1," — he pauses to smirk at Izuku — "So, I'm pretty sure I'm strong enough for the both of us."Everyone is left speechless.

I turn back to Endeavor and tell myself I can figure all this out later. I just need to roll with it for now. If it makes Endeavor rethink his decision, then I'm all for it.

I need to say something though.

Something that makes it seem as if this wasn't half-assed and is a real course of action.

I tilt my head to the side, "Are we strong enough now?"

Did I just get goosebumps?

(Y/n) Sato is weak, so why am I even considering this?

Her face is stone cold as she glares at me. If I didn't know what her quirk was, I'd probably be terrified of the woman.

Even with a child in her arms, she looks like she's capable of murder.

And standing right next to her, a few inches taller, is Bakugou Katsuki. The most hot-headed hero I've ever met.

As I take them both in, they look domineering. Their mere presence together commands respect.

I sigh loudly, not liking what I'm about to say.

(y/n) p.o.v.

Endeavor sighs, "Well, it looks like you are."

He glances at the other heroes in the room who are still staring at the situation before them with their mouths agape. "Is everybody in agreement?"

They all look at each other, back at us, and then they immediately nod yes to Endeavor.

"Ok, then it's settled. (Y/n) Sato and Bakugou Katsuki will be responsible for Kaito Masaki. Congratulations, you're parents."

Holy shit!

He said yes!

Wait, he actually said yes?

Oh my god, he said yes . . . 

I'm responsible for another human being.

Endeavor resumes his meeting, but I don't hear a thing he says.

Bakugou and I sit back down and I think about what the hell just happened.

Why did Bakugou say he was gonna help out?

And is he just gonna help out, or is he gonna actually adopt him with me?

Wait a minute, is he gonna live with us?!

The only reason they're gonna let me adopt Kaito is because Bakugou said I wouldn't be alone, that I'd have him.

What the fuck does that mean?

I'm so confused.

But I'm also freakin' happy.

Kaito gets to stay with me. I get to spend more time with him.

Holy crap, does he even like me?

What if he wants to go to the orphanage?
