CHAPTER 30: UNANSWERED QUESTIONS

EVES POV

"Tyler, we need to make Lia something to eat," I said. Tyler made Lia a cheese sandwich and handed it to Jodie. "Can you take this to her please? I need to speak to Eve," Tyler said. "Yeah sure," Jodie said and left. What did Tyler need to speak to me about?

"I really didnt know Eve. Tom and I arent really close. I never even saw him at Jodies party," he said. "She needs to spek to someone professional. We all very well know that she'll pretend that everything is hunky dorey," I said. "Eve I will speak to Tom. Im just stunned that he would do such a thing," Ty said.

"Lia looked so vulnerable. Everyone knows how sensitive she is. If she gets hurt, she hurt hard. Your cousin ruined her. He broke her and he took away her last hope of happiness. I just hope we can find her happiness again. Tom is  a grade A bastard. Im glad Lyle,although I dont like him either, stopped it. Some girls arent as lucky," I said and an image flashed quickly through my mind,but I pushed it away.

Tyler hugged me. "Im sorry," he said. "Lia should be getting an apology from you assface of a cousin," I said. "I'll make sure he does. Okay, babe?" Ty asked and pushed a strand of hair out of my face. "I cant lose her Ty. Shes my best friend. I'd do anything to trade places with her," I said on the verge of crying.

Tyler held me tight and gave me one last squeeze before letting go of me. "The two of you are inseparable. Nothing can break you apart," he said and gave me a kiss o my forehead. He placed his arms on each side of me on the counter, me trapped in them. "Can we chang the topic please? I feel like hitting Tom myself now," I said. "I would pay to see that," he said. "Hahahahahaha. You would do that," I said. "Can I kiss you now?"he asked. "Very romantic Mr Lewis," I said sarcastically. "Whatever," he said before he brought his lips down to mine.

It was gentle at first but the longer we kissed the more urgent it became. His hands slid from the counter to my hips and I ruffled his hair. Witoit breaking the kiss he hoisted me up onto the counter. He kissed me down my jawline, down to my neck where he sucked and brought blood to the surface. "God no," said a voice. It was Jodie.

"Oh my gosh. I..Im so sorry," I said,immediately jumping off the counter, completely embarrassed. "Uh..yeah. I just came to say that Lia is asleep and I wanted to show you something," he said. What did he want to show us? OMG! He just saw Ty and I making out!

JODIES POV

I took the sandwich upstairs to the room. I couldnt believe what I saw in front of me. Lia laid with her head on Matts chest and his arm was slung loosely around her waist. It seemed so... intimate almost. I never entered the room.

Instead I went back down and went to the kitchen to find Eve and Tyler making out on the fricking countertop. "God no," I said. Oh my gosh. I..im so sorry," Eve said Nd jumped off the counter in embarrassment. Her cheeks turning pink. "Uh...yeah. I just came to tell you that Lia is asleep and I wanted to show you something," I said.

They followed me ti the room. "This doesnt make sense," Eve whispered in the doorway. "Did she ever mention taking a liking to Matt," Tyler asked. He sounded jealous. Be satisfied with what you got. Wow! What an ungrateful sonofa bitch.

"It doesnt mean anything. We did leave the two of them alone and Lia was upset," Eve said. That sounded much more reasonable. "Guess you're sharing a room with us," I said. "Okay," she shrugged. "Just so you know you guys have company," I said. Eve gasped. "What are you trying to say?"she asked. "Just that I dont need to see round two," I teased. She turned red. It was funny. The three o us went to the room next door.

LIAS POV

I felt an arm wrappe around my waist and a body underneath me. A chet rising and falling with their breathing. I sat up immediately. Frightened. I looked down to see it was Matt. I calmed down. Because I sat up too quickly my head spun.
