WHO WILL IT BE?

CHAPTER3:TRUTH,DARE & A MOMENT

Before any of us could respond mom called us downstairs. On the tables were cakes,sweets,chips and chocolates. My favourite. Yummy! My mom placed me behind a table in the middle which had a huge cake with a picture of me on. Everyone started singing and took pictures. I was happy and could honestly say that the smile on my face was anything but fake. I blew out my candles and,like any other birthday party, had to take pictures with my family members. To quicken the pace I made five people surround me at a time.

After everyone took pictures and filled their plates my group retreated back to my room. It was 20:00 meaning two hours  of my party left." So. How 'bout it then?"asked Jodie after a few minutes. We only four, so wheres the fun in that. We were all seated on the mat and I was seated between Tyler and Jodie. "Im in." Eve said. "Tyler? Lia?" Jodie asked. "Im in." Tyler said. Im considering if I should or not. I caved. "Fine. Im in." I said. "Great. I'll get a bottle an get it started." Jodie said and returned with a bottle a minute later.

The bottle stopped at Eve and I. "Truth or dare,Lia?" Eve asked. I chose truth. Theres nothing that I can tell her that she doesnt already know. The people Im really worried about are Jodie and Tyler. "Is it true thar you've never been kissed?"shr asked. Oh.My.Fudge. Really?! My cheeks are probably as red as a tomato. "Yes. Its true." I murmured. I looked to the ground while everyone went silent.

Jodie handed the bottle to me. I spinned it and it landed between Jodie and I. "Dare,dear cousin." Jodie said before I even asked. I dared him to take his shirt off and he did without hesitation. I didnt know what else to dare him,but I've got to admit hes got a really good body. Eve spinned the bottle and it landed between us again. "Lia please choose dare this time. Its your 16th birthday. Time to live a little." Jodie said. "Fine! Dare." I said. She gave me a mischievous smile. "I dare you to kiss Tyler. So dont keep you smart. It has to be a makeout type of kiss." Eve and Jodie stared at me expectantly.

"Come on Lia. Take a risk." Jodie said. "Fine." I mumbled and moved to Tyler. "Sorry." I mouthed and brought my lips to his. It took him a moment to kiss me back . I placed my hands against his chest and he put his hands on my waist. The kiss was intense and felt like it went on forever before i pulled away. I cant explain how I felt like when the kiss ended though. Maybe disappointed? Jodie and Eve stared at me when i sat on my place again.

After a minute or two we continued the game. Tyler had to take off his tshirt and I have to say...Hubba Hubba. Hes got abs! Fricking abs! I need to leave this room fast.. "im going downstairs. Im in the mood to dance." I said and stood up. "Okay. Lets go."said Jodie. Tonight by Ne-yo Naya and Pitbull started playing and I danced along to it. Soon,I realised,everyone was watching me. A song named Islands in the stream started playing right after and everyone started jazzing. Dad and I started and later Jodie took over.

"So whats going on between you and Tyler?" Jodie asked. "Nothing. Why you ask?". I said. "Oh,no reason besides the fact that things got hot and heavy very quickly."he said. "That was nothing." I said. "If that was nothing why are you as red as a tomato? Do you like him or not?"he asked. "I dont know. I hardly know him at all." I said. "You better start thinking because your window of opportunity is closing soon."he said. He saw my look of confusion on my face and stared at something behind me. When I turned around I saw Eve and Tyler together jazzing. That sent a PANG! to my chest.

They were laughing and Eve did her flirtatious laugh which was only used on guys she liked. "What do you expect me to do?" I asked Jodie. "That you have to work out on your own."he said. "They actually look cute together. I doubt he'd even consider ever dating me. Im nothing to compared to her." I said. "I'd date you. You are really pretty,smart and you always put the other person before you. You neglect your own problems to help others which is a major thing for anyone. You have so much compassion any guy would be a fool to not even cinsider you."he said. "But then again your opinion would be biased." I pointed out. "Why?"he asked. "You're my cousin. You're obligated to say nice things to me so your opinion doesnt really count." I replied. "If I wasnt ,your cousin I mean, would you consider?"he asked. "Oh. My... Jodie!" I said. "Calm your tits. I was kidding."he said,laughing. "I'll let you know they are pretty calmed thank you very much." I said and we started laughing. "I need some air." I said. "Okay sure."he said.
