CHAPTER 34

Recap :
Matt: Lia I told you how I felt and I'd just like to know if its returned
Lia: ok fine.
Matt: ok?
Lia: I do like you.

There I finally said it, okay typed it, but its out there. He took a while before he replied again.

Matt: now that its out there I'd like to talk to you in person, without Eve around.
Lia: you know thats impossible.
Matt: I know but please find a way.
Lia: I'll try
Matt: thanks Amelia
Lia: dont call me that
Matt: why not?
Lia: just Lia
Matt:ok Just Lia
Lia: not funny Matthew
Matt: fine. I'll call you Lia if you call me Matt.
Lia: its tough on the recieving end
Matt: totally sucks
Lia:gotta go
Matt: noooooooo!:-(
Lia: lol. Good night Matt
Matt: night. Dream of me
Lia: in your dreams Matty:-P

I switched off my mobile network and went to bed. It was a very goodnight indeed!

Chapter 34

EVE'S POV

Tuesday morning Lia's mom dropped her off at school and I waited for her. We headed to class and ahe seemed happier. I've seen her happy before,but this was different. "Good morning. I see someone's taken her happy pills this morning," I teased. "Just had a really good nights's sleep," she shrugged. Lia's only this happy once she got what she wanted.

She's not happy or would be, but you wouldn't know because she's never always smiling. I understand why she hasn't been happy for some time now, but she's adjusting. Her mom seems to be okay now. Aunty Rachel spoke to me last night and asked me to keep and eye on Lia. I dont thing she's prepared to lose someone else.

When we got to class Mr. A was already there with stacks of paper on his desk. Tyler and Jordan were in already. "Morning guys," Lia greeted. Tyler raised his brow at me and I gave him the dont-ask-me look. "Hey," Jordan said,giving off a sweet smile. When I sat down in front of Jordan, Tyler joined me. "Do you need any help sir?" Lia went to ask. Why does she do that? "No, but thank you Lia," he said, looking flustered. "Okay," she shrugged and came to join us,siting beside Jordan.

Tyler said something to me,but I wasn't listening. What I was interested in was Lia and Jordan's conversation. "So Ty tells me that you're a buff in all your subs just not Maths. I was wondering if you could help me catch up?" Jordan asked and I smiled inwardly. I knew it! He's obviously trying to get to know her and that also means he and Tyler spoke about her yesterday. "Im going to Eve today," she said. Invite him! I screamed inside my head. "Well we dont have to do it today as no ones working, but I'd like to be done by fourth term," he said. "Hang on.... Eve can Jordan coke over to you? Tyler will be joining us today right?" she asked me. I looked at her. Did we make plans to hang out today? Oh yeah, it's Tuesday. We spend the day by my house.

"Yeah he's coming and Jordan can come too," I said. "Will Matt be there?" Lia asked me. I stared at her. Why would she ask if he'd be there, but maybe she doesnt want him to bother us? I dont know, but its the first time she's ever asked me. "I think so," I shrugged. "Cool. Jordan and Matt can bond over basketball," she said. So she asked on Jordans behalf? Weird!

The day went by in a blur, but I saw the multiple glares Robyn gave Lia. I wish Lia would just believe me that Robyns jealous. Theres two things Lia has that she doesnt: true friends and, most importantly, a good heart.
