It was the end of the day, and everybody was walking out of the school building. As the party, minus will, went over to the bike racks, mikes spoke up.

"We should go look for him!" He yelled while getting his bike.

"Mike, it's to dangerous." Mal told him with a soft voice.

"No, mal! I don't care!" He yelled while turning around to her.

"Mike-" she started but got cut off by mike again.

"What?! Do you not even care about Will?!" He asked as he raised his voice, so now some people were giving them weird looks.

"Mike please listen-" she whispered, but once again, got cut off.

"No! Will could be in trouble, and you don't care!" He was yelling like crazy.

"You don't care about him! If you did, you would agree and we would be looking! You don't care! You're so annoying! You're so annoying that you don't want to look for him! You don't care! Your don't care Mallory!" He yelled as his voice got more and more louder to now, almost everyone was looking.

Mallory felt tears forming in the corner of her eyes. "You- you don't mean that..." she said trying to convince herself.

Mike saw the tears prickling at her eyes and immediately softened his face.

"Wait, mal, I didn't mean it..." he trailed off as he was walking towards her to try and wrap her into a hug, only for her to walk backwards as tears fall onto her cheeks.

The party knew Mal was a very sensitive, caring, and mature person. They also knew that anytime someone yelled at her, she would most likely cry.

Mal was so hurt in this Situation. Her brother never yelled at her, or said things like that to her. He knew how this would turn out. Did he just want to humiliate her? Did he just want to make her cry in front of everyone? He knew, he knew it would turn out like this.

Lucas and Dustin looked shocked. Almost everyone was looking at them by how loud mike was. Mike kept trying to pull her into a hug and he was trying to apologize.

"Please...please mal, im sorry.." he said softly towards her.

Mal shook her head. "No. No you're not." She said as she grabbed her bike.

"Mal, mal Wait!" Mike yelled as she rode off onto the road.

"I'm sorry!" He yelled as she rode onto a unfamiliar road.

Malory kept on riding. She didn't know where she was going, but she didn't care. Her vision was becoming blurry from all the tears.

She had been riding for a while now, and it was dark. She couldn't see due to the tears, and the darkness. Mallory hated the darkness. She was terrified of the dark.

She was riding as fast as she could, that was until she hit something in the road and her tire popped. Her bike went to the side a d she fell into a ditch. She hit her eyebrow on a rock and it had started bleeding.

She got up, and looked around. She couldn't see anything. She went to grab anything, hopefully her bike. Just as she went to grab it, she heard something, like a... growl? She stood up, and looked around the dark woods. She couldn't see anything, but she could hear everything. She heard the growling again.

"Who- who's there?" She called out.

There was no answer. Just more growling, and branches breaking. Branches that she could hear were close to her. Whatever it was. It was getting closer. She could still hear it coming.

I sounded like it was right In front of her. The noise stoped, until, I light showed out of now where, and this huge, slimy, gooey, thing was in front of her. It's head opened up in the shape of a flower and it roared. She turned around and tried to run, only to have something sharp in her collarbone. It turned her around and went close up to her face. The sharp pain in her collarbone becomes worse, as if something was digging deep into her it.

The long claw had pulled out of her collarbone and she ran. Mal had ran as fast as she could. As she looked around her self, everything was covered in vines. This wasn't Hawkins. Then where was she? Everything had goo and vines on it. The sky, it was red. And around her, it was dark. So dark. She just wanted to go home. She just wanted to be with her best Friends. She just wanted to be with her brother. She doesn't care what he said earlier. She just wants to hug him.

Mal hadn't realized how far and how fast she ran, that was until she came across the Byers house. Or what the Byers house used to be. It was covered in vines, like everything else.

"Hello? Joyce! Jonathan! Will!?" She yelled out hoping to hear one of them come to rescue her. She walked into the house, nobody was there. She ran back towards castle Byers. Will had showed it to her, and they had spent time in there, drawing, taking naps, and just ranting to each other.

She walked over towards it. She opened the cloth over it, and what was inside gave her goosebumps.

Will was inside castle Byers. Laying down on the small bed, hurling himself into a ball. Mal walked over to the small boy who had his eyes squeezed shut.

"Will?" She asked softly.

Will opened his eyes barley. But once he saw mal they shot open.

"M-mal?" He asked.

"Yeah, yes it's me. What is this place?" She asked him.

He didn't answer her, instead he just shot up and wrapped her into a big, warm hug. She immediately hugged back. God, she missed his hugs. She missed her best friends hugs. Will was always there for her, and she was always there for him. She pulled away and both of them had tears coming into their eyes.

"I'm so sorry mal. I love you, and I'm so sorry" Will said as he sobbed quietly.

"No, no Will. Don't be sorr-" she was about to continue until a loud, close growl came from around them. Will eyes widened.

"Hey, hey it's okay. I'll go distract it, Lead it somewhere else. Please, please go find a better hiding spot." Mal told to the scared boy. All he did was nodded.

"I love you mal. Stay safe." He said barely above a whisper.

"I love you too. Stay safe also." She said before pulling him into a another tighter hug. She didn't know what the thing was that was out there, but she knew it could hurt him. She didn't care about herself at this moment. She just wanted Will safe. She wanted him somewhere warm, safe, and with light. She let go of the hug, and whipped his tears. She smiled softly before going out of castle Byers.

As soon as she stepped outside, she saw  it. She didn't know what it was, but it reminded her of the demogorgon. She ran, as it ran after her. She ran everywhere. She finally grew tired, just as she saw the store Joyce works in. She ran inside until she got towards the counter. As she was running she scratched her hand on the counter, causing her to groan in pain.

She got underneath the counter, and waited until she didn't hear anything. After a while, it went silent. She walked outside, just to be tricked and it jump out of nowhere. And she ran, once again. It had ran after her. It caught up to her, and grabbed her by the waist, slicing through her skin. The wound was deep, very deep. She winced in pain as the thing had tried to claw her face, but ended up cutting her cheek, just as deep as her waist. That would definitely scar and never go away.

As she had tried to free herself, it wouldn't let go. She reached around herself to grab anything, anything that could her her free herself. She found a branch. It wasn't much, but it had thorns. She hit the thing in the head, or anywhere she could reach. It eventually let go and she ran. Once again.

AN: holy shit this is going well. This was a very long chapter though. But enjoy!
