ELLE RUSHED INTO THE OFFICE AND HEADED STRAIGHT TO THE RECORDING STUDIO. Mark was sat ready in the studio when she got there, jotting down what they had planned for the day. Now that Elle had been signed, she had to start the singing.

"Okay, let's get started straight away. Go get in the booth and then tell me if you can hear me and we'll get started." He instructed and Elle did as he said, going to the recording booth and standing in front of the microphone.

"Can you hear me?" He asked and Elle held her thumb up. "Okay, so start with the song you sang on the demo and then we'll go from there." He instructed and turned in the recording.

♫ "Baby really hurt me, crying in the taxi
He doesn't wanna know me
Says he made the big mistake of dancing in my storm
Says it was poison." ♫

♫ "So I guess I'll go home
Into the arms of the girl that I love
The only love I haven't screwed up
She's so hard to please, but she's a forest fire." ♫

♫ "I do my best to meet her demands, play at romance, we slow dance
In the living room, but all that a stranger would see
Is one girl swaying alone, stroking her cheek." ♫

♫ "They say, "You're a little much for me
You're a liability
You're a little much for me"
So they pull back, make other plans
I understand, I'm a liability
Get you wild, make you leave
I'm a little much for e-a-na-na-na, everyone." ♫

♫ "The truth is I am a toy that people enjoy
'Til all of the tricks don't work anymore
And then they are bored of me
I know that it's exciting running through the night, but
Every perfect summer's eating me alive until you're gone
Better on my own." ♫

♫ "They say, "You're a little much for me
You're a liability
You're a little much for me"
So they pull back, make other plans
I understand, I'm a liability
Get you wild, make you leave
I'm a little much for e-a-na-na-na, everyone." ♫

♫ "They're gonna watch me disappear into the sun
You're all gonna watch me disappear into the sun." ♫

Mark clapped once she had finished, a bright smile on his face. He had never heard a girl with such a voice that it could imbed emotions into people, no matter if she was trying or not. Her voice was powerful. She had a real chance at making a career.

"You're incredible." He cheered and she grinned widely, walking out of the booth. "I'm going to forward this to an agency and then I'll call you with what they say. You could be making a record faster than you think." He said happily.

"Thank you so much." She was over the moon.
