DIANA WAS NEVER the same after her team broke up, her few years of quiet in Wakanda gave her enough time to overthink every mistake she's ever made all the way back to 2012 when a handsome god decided to invade Earth with an army of aliens. Now, with nothing but guilt on her chest and a desperation for redemption on her mind, Diana was eager to fight the purple Titan that threatened her family and her home, and she was determined to not fail.
Until she did, and everything seemed to crumble and wither until she became a husk of her former self doing everything she can to push one foot in front of the other, hoping that something would come along to bring everyone back.
But that doesn't mean sacrifices won't be made, people won't be lost, and all Diana can wonder: was it worth it? Everyone seemed to think so, but she couldn't be so sure. At least the man who remembered his name is trying to convince her it was.
