WORKING ON THE boat was almost therapeutic. With the added strength, Diana was able to do a lot of heavy lifting, especially when it came to getting a new engine down to Sam and Bucky who had just ripped the old one out. It wasn't the only thing, after putting on some gloves, Diana made quick work of pulling off the old, rusted metal sheets that used to be a protective cover for the rim of the boat, now being its harm.

Sam, who had been working on this task while Bucky sanded the floors, stared up at her in disbelief as she set the rusted metal sheet down. Her attention pulled down to the sander that Bucky was using, making her snort before looking back at Sam.

"What if we made him use Mr. Miyagi's sanders?" She asked. Sam, who still had the look of disbelief seemed to be blinking through different thoughts and responses.

Diana didn't wait for a witty response before walking off to a different task, giggling as she went through the sanding motions. Her feet carried her past Bucky's work where he paused to watch her walk by and into the small room of the boat where the steering wheel sat surrounded by photos of Sam and Sarah in their childhood.

"Sand on," She muttered, "Sand off, no that's not how it went, that was the wax..."

A shrug and a tool being placed into her hands by Sarah later, and Diana was down in the small room where the water heater sat, an empty bucket that needed to be full of nuts and bolts sat by her feet. The work was tedious but after she set a routine for herself, it became easier and easier until it was done. A full bucket and a teetering water heater were the products of her finished job.

"Hey Sam!" Diana called out, looking up the ladder where she would hopefully see his head appear, "Are you emotionally attached to this heater?"

"You can turn it into rocks!" Sam yelled from the stern of the boat.

Diana hissed out a "yes!" before slapping her hand down onto the side of the heater. What looked to be over a hundred little stones fell around Diana's feet, some even landing in the bucket. She filled it up along with some of her pockets and made it back up the ladder, one hand holding tightly onto the bucket full of her new rocks.

It was getting closer to sunset, and with the fading light, the energy of everyone around them seemed to be dissipating into the water rocking up the boat. In fact, so much water had poured into the boat that Sam and Bucky had to stop what they were doing and shovel out the water with their own buckets. After finding a spare that wasn't full of rocks, Diana joined in on getting the water out. The task was becoming easier with three people working on it.
