We knelt beside Mallory who was lying unconscious in the bath, blood spilling out from her nose and mouth. I was unsure if she was going to make it.

"Delia" I whispered, she gave me no response.

After a few seconds, she looked up at me. "I love you" she whispered before standing up silently. "Cordelia?" I asked but she left the room without saying a word. I looked over at Myrtle who was staring at the door with wide eyes.

I briskly stood up to follow her out the door only to find Micheal towering over Cordelia, all I wanted to do was hold her in my arms and make all the evil go away. I wanted to be able to do that for her, but I knew I hadn't the power to do so.

"How did you think this would end? The prophecy is inevitable, I was always going to win... Miss Supreme" he snarled.

Micheal was unpredictable, he has already been killed by Madison. My best friend, who is now gone. She could be a stone-cold bitch sometimes but I still loved her. However, nobody compares to Delia.

"Y/N" I heard her say, bringing my attention back to the pair. I looked at her and she gave me a weak smile, her eyes were puffy from crying but she still looked perfect.

"Please go, I don't want you to see this"

See what? My breathing got heavier. "Delia no! I am not leaving you"

"Please baby, you have to" she tried to persuade me but I stayed, bolted to the ground.

Langdon took a step closer to her, it took all the strength in me to scream "you stay away from her Langdon, don't touch her"

He turned and faced me, giving me a devilish grin.

I began to back away as he slowly made his way towards me. I felt his hand grip around my neck, "I suggest you be quiet, or you won't be so lucky"

I heard Myrtle scream, drawing our attention back to Cordelia. She was holding a knife.

"DELIA NO! DON'T DO ANYTHING STUPID" I yelled, beginning to violently sob.

"Y/N I am so sorry, I told you to leave" she whispered through tears.

"Langdon! You haven't won. You were never going to" she spoke calmly yet assertive.

He gave her a confused look as she continued. "Not on your own, you've been led by the hand of your father and the warlocks"

"Delia please" I begged, but she ignored my pleads.

"When I look at you, I don't see a man. I see a sad, scared little boy. So pathetic he couldn't even kill me with a thousand nuclear bombs"

"I never expected to. Like a cockroach, I knew you'd survive the nuclear fallout. I wanted you to, and now I'm going to have the satisfaction of watching you die. Knowing you've failed"

My breath hitched, he was going to kill the love of my life. I thought I was already going to lose her as the new supreme rose but at least I would have time.

"You still don't get it, do you? Even now. You think there's only winning and losing, success and failure. But failure is when you've lost any semblance of hope" his face contorted into the same devilish grin he bore me before.

"You will get to watch me die, but you won't find it satisfying" she pulled the knife up towards her chest.

"CORDELIA" Myrtle and I screamed in unison.

"Satan has one son. But my sisters are legion motherfucker" before I had any time to react, she plunged the knife into her chest and smiled at Micheal as she fell backwards off the balcony.

My mind filled with dark thoughts as I screamed from the top of my lungs.

I forced myself past Micheal and raced down the stairs, followed by Myrtle. I knelt at her lifeless body, "Delia, please wake up. I need you!" I screamed.

Myrtle tried to pull me off her but my grip on her body was too strong. "Y/N please, we need to go"

"I'm not leaving her!" I yelled through violent sobs. I rested my head on her chest and cried into her hair.

"Why Delia, why?" I couldn't hear a heartbeat. I was brought back to all the times I'd fall asleep listening to the beat of her heart, it was her heart that was keeping me alive. And now she's gone.

"Sometimes I ask myself, is there really a God? Someone to hold our hands, someone to hold our heart"

"And I hear your voice inside my head, saying you don't believe it anyway. But I kneel and pray for you"

I played with her hair, crying into her chest. I can't believe she did that. I understand she needed to save the coven and the world but, my Delia. My sweet Delia. A part of my soul has left to be with hers.

"But never have I lost this much before. If this is goodbye" I sobbed, kissing her on the cheek before finally standing up.

I turned to see Myrtle standing with Mallory. "She did it" she whispered.

I managed to crack a light smile, turning back to my lover's body. "Did you hear that flower? Mal did it!"

I felt Myrtle hold my shoulders and guide me away from her. I cried violently as we ascended the spiral staircase. I wanted to turn back and lay with her forever but I knew it wouldn't be possible. Mallory had done something incredible and I wanted to congratulate her but I just couldn't.

My Cordelia had killed herself, now I was all alone in this cruel world.

If this is goodbye, my love...
