The five of them were in Philza's house. Hannah sat quietly on the couch right next to Tubbo. Ranboo sat on the chair across from them and Techno and Phil stood. Phil turned to everyone, "That was sort of a waste wasn't it?"
"It was," Tubbo said, glancing over at Hannah, "but what about what Techno did?"
Techno seemed to cringe at the words, now everyone had their eyes on him. He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck, "I didn't mean to."
"Yeah oops I just accidentally killed two people," Hannah rolled her eyes, mocking him. Techno simply ignored her, allowing Tubbo to relax. He wouldn't want Techno to be at it again.
"I can explain," Techno suggested. Tubbo nodded, "Please do Technoblade."
"So," he gave a half-smile, "There's sort of these voices in my head. Original I know. No character in any story ever has heard voices that nobody else could hear."
Ranboo turned his head up to Techno, 'What? Voices too-'
"Most of the time they're just annoying. Other times they demand blood."
"So you just give it to them?" Hannah looked up at Techno as if he was insane like she wasn't fighting for a literal egg yesterday.
"No. Never willingly," Techno pinched his brows, "They either become too much that I give in or they just completely have me lose myself."
"That's," Tubbo stared blankly at the table, "something."
"They will find almost any excuse for me to put an end to someone," Techno rambled on, "It's ridiculous. Like, can I fight in peace?"
Ranboo smirked at that last sentence, 'Fight in peace? I wonder if that's a paradox.'
"And you knew Phil?"
Phil looked down at Tubbo, "Well I- Yes. I did."
Ranboo wandered away from the conversation, glancing at Techno every now and then. It felt almost endearing that Techno had voices in his head too. Was endearing the word for it? Ranboo doesn't really know. Ranboo let his eyes travel around the room, he noticed Hannah twirling a flower between her fingers as everyone talked. Ranboo hummed to himself, 'Just yesterday Tubbo and I were going to put her in the prison. Hopefully, the egg does wear off eventually. Sucks that we know nothing about it.'
"Hannah," Ranboo called, not even noticing his voice at first. Hannah, who had just been listening, turned to Ranboo, "What? Going to take me to the prison now?"
"No," he shook his head. "I need you to tell me about the egg."
She scoffed, "Why the hell am I going to tell you?" Ranboo thought for a moment, "You'd actually rather go to a prison than answer a couple of questions?"
"Not actually," she mumbled, "What do you need to know. I don't know a lot so you're kind of asking the wrong person. Then again, your friend with the robe over there killed Bad."
Techno cut into the conversation, "It's fine. Doesn't he have infinite lives? It only matters if Skeppy dies."
"Wow didn't know you knew them that much," Hannah seemed to mock him. Techno just glanced the other way, "Skeppy and I are friends."
"Not the point," Ranboo said, trying to go back to the topic, "I need to know about the egg." Hannah sighed, "Fine. It's an egg that mind controls people."
"Hannah," Tubbo nudged her, then whispered, "I'm not so sure that Techno is uh- going to like your sarcastic shenanigans."
Somehow Tubbo and Hannah had seemed to get close over the twenty hours of her being around. Despite the fact, she was trying to kill him yesterday. Maybe it was Tubbo's loveable personality that was even strong enough to sway Hannah to his side. Hannah nodded slowly.
