Technoblade walked through the door, waving to Niki who was stirring something in her small kitchen. She poked her head around the wall with a smile, "I'm cooking some food for us. It's soup."

"Sounds great, but how much did ya make?"

"Oh well enough for about three, why?"

Techno stepped to the side, letting in Sam and Quackity as he gestured to them. "They might be hungry, who knows."

"Oh yes. I'm starving." Quackity nodded eagerly. "What's on the menu?"

"Soup, but I only have enough for so many-"

"I'm fine Niki, thanks though," Sam told her with a smile, joining her in the kitchen. "Don't mind if I grab one of these muffins though?" She shrugged with a nod, "Oh yea, sure."

"Great, thanks for the food Niki." Quackity called out, comfortably taking a seat at one of the cushioned chairs at the table as he glanced over at Techno. "What are you looking at? You big fucko."

"Hey man, you got something on your face," Techno began, furrowing his brows. "Oh my- it just kinda goes through that whole side of your face. Might wanna wash that off or something. Doesn't look too appealing."

Quackity gritted his teeth, only sitting up straighter. "Oh, this?" he pointed to his scar. "Yea well if I only I could wash it off. But you kinda gave me a permanent scar, you bitch-"

"Stranger danger, don't come near me." Techno mocked as he packed up from the table when Quackity started to lean over. Quackity rolled his eyes, "You're the one who invited me here."

"And I already regret it-"

"That's a shame. Because I'm staying, Technoblade. I've got some shit to handle with that egg we're against."

"Right, that's the only thing that's keeping me from pushing you out of that door."

"Wow, suddenly you have a sense of humor." Quackity teased, once again getting comfortable in his seat as he leaned back. "Don't forget who was the one that asked for the help here. I'm helping you out so you might as well be kinder. Otherwise, I might just walk out that door- without you pushing me."

Techno bit his cheek, the returning thought to be 'more friendly' resurfacing. At least that meant he was right. If he acted like too much of a prick, they would leave. So he sighed, turning away from Quackity. "Fine. Just sit there and wait for your food," he groaned before walking to the kitchen.

"Hey Niki, call Sapnap out. We should start planning once we're done eating."

"Oh, about that." Niki began as she spun around, facing Techno as he tilted his head. "He left. Took a nap for a while, then ate a bit."

"What? Man, we were gonna do some cool panning stuff. Where did he go?"

"Kinoko Kingdom, he said he had to check up on a couple of people. He'll be back though."

Techno huffed with a stubborn nod, "Great. As long as he does come back. It was his plan to team up in the first place. But until then I have to listen to this idiot." He pointed back to the table, earning a frown from Niki.

"I quite like Quackity, he's funny."

"Of course you do." Techno didn't bother to face back to her. "Maybe back then he wasn't the complete worse, but he's changed, man. Look at him, got a scar and everything to show just how different he is-"

"A scar that you gave him," Sam cut in from where he leaned on the counters. Techno shot a glare at him, "He tried to kill me, twice."

"Look, we're supposed to be working together." Niki interrupted the both of them before they could say anything more. "I don't care about whatever happened in the past. We need to be focusing on the present and our future. One that doesn't involve getting destroyed by an evil red egg. Now, nobody is going to be rude to anybody if I can hear it. Take that elsewhere."

Sam instantly nodded, giving Niki an apologetic smile, "You're right. Bickering isn't going to help anyone even think of a plan. Which is just the first step of many if we're going to get rid of the egg."

"Not if, but when, Sam," Techno said as he placed a hand on the other's shoulder. "We're totally gonna beat that egg into pieces."

"Yea!" Quackity called from the table, making Techno whip around. "Down with the Eggpire."

Techno glanced over at Sam, raising an eyebrow. "He's been working with you man, I don't know what that was about."

"Right," Sam mumbled, rolling his eyes. "I'll go take a seat with him then."

"Go join them," Niki said, waving away Techno. "Food's ready."

Techno sighed before walking out of the kitchen. He took a seat across from the other two, leaning back in his seat. "I was gonna say that once we're done eating we could start planning but one of our... uh, teammates? I don't know the word. But they're out taking care of things or whatever."

"Won't be for too long though." Niki added as she walked in, placing down a couple of bowls before sitting down.

"I mean, I guess you could call all of us teammates for now." Quackity said, tilting his head before tasting the soup. "Holy shit Niki, this is really good."

"Thanks."

"Ok, then. Teammates," Techno contented. "One of our teammates is taking care of something, that's what Niki told us. But it won't be for long, right?"

"Yea, he'll be back soon."

"Great, because it was his idea-"

"To team up in the first place." Niki finished for Techno, nodding as she talked. "I know."

"Soup tastes good," Techno mumbled before continuing to eat. To say the meal was slightly awkward wouldn't be wrong, it was quiet. Only Sam and Quackity mumbled to each other before one of them shared a small conversation with Niki while Techno remained silent.

And so they all sat together, only sharing occasional conversations as they once again, teamed up to stop an evil egg.
