Chapter Ten
Hook's point of view
"It be Pan aboard the ship! Captain!" I heard one of my crew members bellow from outside of my captain's quarters as I was about to slaughter Danny with a sharp slay. My head twisted towards the door, and Danny took that as an excuse to flee from my grasp. "Captain!"
"Stay put!" I ordered to Danny, who only slowly nodded his head as an answer.
As I charged outside I only caught sight of Pan in flight, on his way back to his hideout.
Ever since I discovered where the hideout was, Peter Pan has been on guard at all times. He's set booby traps for anyone who breaks inside, as I learned when Smee had his bottom burned in intentions of doing so.
"Help, Cap'n! Get me down!" The dangling swashbuckler pleaded, as he struggled with himself trying to get a release.
"Fetch him!" I ordered two crew members beside me to climb to the top of the crow's nest and reach him.
The opening of my office door creaked, and I peeked behind me to see Danny exiting. He was wide eyed in sight of the incident, and once he saw me notice his fright, his expression changed. He was now acting angry, pretending to have wrath inside him because of this event.
It didn't matter to me at all that Danny was scared of what Peter would do to him if he had grasp, neither would I protect him from such a thing. He was merely an element to my plan, which I would make sure he would follow through with. Danny was having problems following my orders, but I am sure he now has gotten grasp of what I expect of him. It is not Peter Pan he should be fearing, it is I, who is the actual threat to him.
"Danny!" He whipped his head around to my direction. I crept closer and closer by each word I said to him. "Now I am sure that you understand what I am expecting of you, by this mess. You will do exactly as I say, or that foolish man hanging up there, could be you in the future."
*Shaelynn's Point of View*
Peter had told the lost boys to have the day to themselves, as he had had yesterday. I was to spend the day entirely with only Peter Pan, as he had said. The lost boys were a bit dissappointed, but glad to have the chance to choose their activities of the day once more.
At the moment, Peter and I were flying to our destination, which I didn't know where it was. I didn't really care where it was, because I was just happy to be spending time with him. It felt great to finally have a true friend.
"I'm taking you to meet more people. We're almost there, but before you do anything, let me tell you. Don't get too close to them, alright? They might seem inocent but it's hardly that case." He advised me, making sure I understood how serious he was by looking into my eyes. I nodded my head agreeingly to his statement, excited to see who we were meeting.
Peter pulled the trees on the left aside, and a place that ressembled a marvelous beach was in view. It was attached to the sea, but not so the same, so I assumed it must be some kind of lagoon. The surroundings were so bright and astonishing, it ultimately made me feel impeccable.
"This is Mermaid Lagoon!" Peter Announced aloud, throwing his hands up in the air and watching as I grinned. I knitted my hands together, searching for any creatures, or the people we might encounter.
"Are there mermaids here? I'd love to see them!" My eyes shown pure thrill as I waited for an answer. I'd always loved writing about mermaids, and now knowing that they might be real, is a complete dream come true.
Peter smiled and nodded his head assuringly. He grabbed my hand and took off, drifting us to the other side of the area. "Remember what I said. I can't tell you how many times I've had problems with these maids."
