Chapter Four

Peter's Point of View

In response to the current events of Neverland, I decided to have little fun. Being my humorous self, I thought it would be the perfect time to give Hook another visit before I head to London once more.

"Alright boys! Here we go!" I cheered, and grabbed Tink by the wings lightly. She still put up a fuss, as I patted her behind to sprinkle pixie dust onto the three boys.

I flew a circle in the air above the treetop, and gave them the special orders. "Think happy thoughts, and you'll rise from the ground!"

They laughed, and began to fly up towards the ceiling. I floated around them, racing in a circle of excitement. "Faith!"

I let them add on. "Trust!"

We all finished together in an applaud to ourselves, or rather, me. "And Pixie dust!"

All four of us hid in the clouds as usual, Tink resting on my shoulder. We observed the ship below us and planned out our attack.

"There's hook." Stated Oliver, pointing with his tiny finger. I followed the direction and indeed, saw Hook exiting his captains quarters. Out came a second person, a boy who goes by the name Danny!

"And Dreaded Danny! Terrible, horrible Danny!" Muttered Ben, fist held in the air. "I knew he was on Hook's side."

I gave Ben a stern look. Why must he be so selfish about it? "You knew! Peter knew he was working with Hook." He blushed and corrected his mistake.

Shooting him a sly smile, I begin again to speak. "Here we go, boys."

We took our marks and readied our attack. Hook sure wouldn't expect this, and neither would Danny.

"Tink, you know what to do." I whispered towards her, then she nodded and circled over to behind Jacob. She poked him in the bottom and he jumped forward.

Jacob understood that he was the victim, and flew forward with his head drooped. We watched him fly towards the coconut trees and gather an armful.

I nodded my head when he glanced at us, and Jacob started plunging the crew with coconuts. A couple hit Smee, before he finally gave out and fainted onto the ships wooden floors. The pirates drew out their swords and searched for the source, but they couldn't see Jacob in the tree.

While they were focused in Jacob's way, I instructed our side to make our move. Ben and Oliver followed my lead, a smart thing to do, for I never lose.

We screamed a battle call and teased the pirate crew by flying towards them and then backing away faster. Jacob continued to throw the coconuts as a distraction, and we approached once again.

Ben and Oliver didn't come too close, for they weren't the sharpest, but I came very close. So close, that I managed to cut a pirates ponytail off. He cursed with a scowl, as I laughed jokingly towards the boys.

"Let's go boys!" I announced, and flew off towards the treehouse, filled with amusement as the pirates cursed towards us angrily. We couldn't stay long to annoy the crew, because I had plans this new coming night.

* Shaelynn's POV *

It was the night of Thursday, four days into my new school, and i was sitting in my silent room. What I expected, was not what I had experienced.

Everyday, I have to worry about who I can and cannot talk to. I don't know if the person is just a normal person, or a friend of Kacey, whenever I talk to someone. It made me a little peeved, because I'm usually head strong, and always sticking up for myself, but now, I'm looking away from anyone who looks me in the eyes! What has happened to me, I thought.

I couldn't stop my tears from coming to my eyes. It wasn't because I was sad, it was because I was frustrated with how cowardly I'm being. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't make a stand.

My knees were now damp, while I hugged myself and let out my tears of frustration. The wind blew my hair back, and saved it from being ruined by the water of my eyes.

"Why are you crying?" I heard a sudden voice, and jumped all the way back to the front of my bed.

A boy floated in the air of my new room! No ordinary boy as I could tell. This boy was dressed in tore up clothing, barely a shirt covering his muscular chest. He had chestnut colored hair, ratted up and messy.

I took my sleeves and wiped my face dry. I wasn't a fan of having people watch me cry. "I'm not crying. I uh, I yawned. I'm tired." I stuttered out.

Shaking his head with a grin, he flew a flip over to the ceiling and back. "It's okay to cry. I cry a lot of times- er, well I used too."

I noticed a glittering object by the boy. "What's that right there?" My finger pointed towards the figure.

It came closer to me fast, and soon I was able to notice a very angry fairy. "It's a who, a she. Tinkerbell's her name."

She zoomed back to his side, and relaxed on his shoulder. "She's very pretty. Is she a fairy? She's just like the one in my story I wrote."

He nodded his head eagerly, and clapped his hands. "Sounds great! You shall come with me at once, to tell your stories!"

My face changed to confusion and worry in a second. "No." I had to refuse, because I didn't know this boy, and your not supposed to go with strangers, let alone talk to them. Even though he was clearly magical and just like many of my stories characters, I could not comply.

"Yes!" He demanded, and flew all the way over to my hand. He tugged at it, wanting me to come with him to the window. He gave up after a minute. "Why not?"

I didn't have a proper answer to this, just many more questions, so I asked one. "Who are you?"

He made a smug smile, and rose his fists to his waist sides. His feet were crooked upward, and above the ground. "I'm Peter. Peter Pan."

I giggled a bit at his name, and blushed soon after, feeling embarrassed that I laughed at him. I should feel ashamed. "I'm Shaelynn May Williams. Call me Shae."

He rose over the bed, looking down on me laying in my sheets now. "I'll call you May. It's my nickname for you, and no one else shall use it."

"No guarantees, Peter." I promised, while also trying out his name. It sounded very much like what a story I would soon write would have.

"Do you want to be our storyteller, May? Do you want to come to Neverland with me?" He grew serious, and waited for my response.

I was confused beyond how much I've ever been confused. I didn't know this boy, but I felt as though I did. I felt like I could trust him completely with my life, and he would leave it untouched. I didn't know where Neverland was, but I knew I would love it. It sounded like a place of magic, and a dream come true. And if I would be their storyteller, then who is they?

Before I could even open my mouth to speak, Tinkerbell and Peter were gone, and my mother was inside by the door. "Early sleep, Shae. Goodnight, love." She travelled over to my bedside, and leaned down to give me a peck on the forehead. She looked down at me strangely, before shrugging it off and leaving me be.

The boy didn't come back that night. The window was open for him to come, but he wasn't seen. He left so many questions and answers inside my head, and one of them was the main question. Would he come back?

I waited in my bed all night for Peter to come, but he never came. Is this what he meant by Neverland?
