Chapter Eight
Peters Point of View
Aside from how excited and intrigued May was when we arrived in Neverland, as soon as she was close to a bed she fell asleep instantly. Unfortunately it was in my bed, but I didn't mind, because I didn't plan on sleeping anyways.
The lost boys had been surrounding her ever since they came inside and saw her sleeping. I was proud to know that I had made this all happen. I hoped that positive karma would do me good.
May is one of the prettiest girls I've ever laid eyes on. Wendy and May are both beautiful, but May is so different compared to Wendy. Even the way they dress is different, for Wendy wore dress cloth, and May wears jean. They are no two to be compared with, both unique in their own ways.
It is Mays turn in Neverland, and this time it is infinite. Wendy chose to grow up, and I respect her choice now, no matter how wrong it was. May will be different, I can feel it. She will make the right choice. She will want to stay.
*Shaelynn's point of view*
"Woah!" I screamed, falling backward onto the dirt floor. Many young pairs of eyes were above me, at the most three. They stared with interest as I managed to pull myself into standing position.
They turned to one another with excitable question in their eyes as to what to do. "Hello!"
"Hi..." I muttered awkwardly, knitting my hands together and watching them look at me excitedly. "Who are you guys?"
They looked to each other confusingly, and one responded. "We're Peter Pan's lost boys!"
"Well, the second generation boys I guess." Corrected the tallest boy, nodding his head after thinking about it briefly.
I remembered Peter mentioning other people, so I concluded that these boys must be them. "I'm Shaelynn. Are you Peter Pan's friends?"
"Shaelynn?" The tall one muttered to the others. "What happened to May?"
"Oh, that's what Peter calls me." I mentioned, remembering his nickname for me. "Where is Peter?"
"Right here!" He announced, arriving at the tree stump. He had arms full of fruit, such as coconuts, berries, and bananas. He had a proud grin on his face, as he floated in the air. "I brought May some food."
"Thank you, Pan." I responded, watching him bring the fruit closer to me and dropping it at my feet. I grabbed a banana and began to peel it while watching the others.
"Let me introduce you to the lost boys!" With a snap of his fingers the boys were lined up shortest to tallest. Peter began at the shortest boy, who looked so happy he could burst. "This is Oliver, the youngest and the most joyful."
I waved at him with my free hand and he smiled back. Oliver was like the little brother I always wanted.
"Then here's Ben. He likes swords." I noticed his cutlass in his hand and knew that was probably true. Nevertheless, Ben looked like a nice boy.
Peter pointed to the tallest one. "And here's Jacob, the smartest of the boys." Jacob had braces on his teeth, which matched his blue trousers.
Peter Pan flew towards me last. "Boys, this is May, but that's my nickname for her so you shall not call her that." I knew Peter probably wouldn't mind so much if one of the boys called me May, it was just his way of establishing leadership, and I Cosby help but notice a hint of possession. I knew it was harmless care anyways. "She's brought her stories to read for you, just like before."
