It had been a couple of days and Amy wouldn't come out of their bedroom. Vera could hear Amy every so often crying.
Vera made the call to inform Lou as her and Vera hit it off very well.
"Hello Vera, how did Jordan do ,,,, 
Vera's voice was shaky and Lou could tell something was wrong.
"Lou, Jordans Dead, he died right in front of us, and poor Amy, when she realised what had happened past out and hit the floor from shock, she needs you Lou, she won't speak to anyone".
"Okay, I'll see you tomorrow,  have you said anything to our Dad Yet Vera".
"No, it was hard to phone you".
"Okay I'll let him know".
Lou looked on line and found an article about it, it spoke of what happened with the Horse dropping dead on top of Jordan and he'd only been married for less than three weeks.
Lou copied the Link then sent a message including the link in it to her dad.
Sorya was crying in her Mum's arms when she saw the Article as she was trying to find out how Jordan did , the Article also mentioned about his wife collapsing in the Stands due to shock but then being revived by the medical team.
Lou turned up the following day and went straight to see Amy.
Lou didn't knock, she walked straight in and the look of relief  on Amy's face told Lou all she needed to know.
"Come here Sis". Lou held her as she shook and sobbed mumbling that he will never know, she was going to tell him after his ride.
"Amy, what was you going to tell Jordan".
Amy reached into her handbag and handed Lou the Pregnancy Test.
"O.m.g. know wonder your so upset, probably even more than you would normally be, don't you dare blame yourself for not saying anything sweetheart, you wanted him to have a clear head".
"I did, how the hell does a horse drop dead like that, somethings not right Lou. I can't believe I've lost him, it's not fair".

Vera could hear the sobbing once Lou arrived. "You did good Vera getting Lou to come and see her, I still can't believe he's gone and they'd only been married for 3 weeks".
"I know John, something doesn't sit right , are they doing a Postmortem on the Horse".
"I requested one, dam I'd better go and make sure".
"John, we'll get our own done privately if we have to, no cover ups".
"Agreed".
John Left straight away on his way to the Veterinary hospital to see what was happening ".
When he got there he heard a lot of shouting and didn't like what he was hearing so called the police then started recording the conversation.
John heard one person say the horse wasn't well the day before and told the owner it could be Collic. The owner was in there too shouting there was nothing wrong with the Horse.
"Listen, I'm the Vet tasked with doing the Postmortem on this Horse so when I'm finished I will submit my report, now leave me alone and go home".
Just then two police officers turned up and John put his finger to his lips, so they stood and listened.
"Sorry but we're taking this Horse with us and that's the end of it".
"A young man died because of this Horse dropping dead and I will find out why".
"Ain't happenin Doc, ".
Both officers walked in and arrested the three men that were trying to interfere in the Doctors Duties...

"Was that your doin John".
"Yep, I heard what they were saying and I didn't like what I was hearing".
"Well Thanks for doing that John,  and my Condolences to you, Vera and Jordan's Wife".
"Much appreciated,  Just find us some answers please".
"I'll phone you myself when I've put the report in but from what they was talking about,  it could very well have been Colic".
"Thanks" .
