It was 4pm and the temperature was starting to drop, it was only April the start of spring  and Amy will be 23 the beginning of June, but April could be warm in the daytime and drop to -3 at Night. Amy had been in Colorado for 4 yrs with different weather so the cold was going to be a shock for her. Lisa knew they had to find her and the Rain if it continues could turn to snow.
Lisa made some calls, Tim turned up, Royal mounted Police about 8 on horseback, Lisa, Carl and others who came as well, Lisa had two main Trails and one that was fairly new and unknown, they split into three groups  and each group took a packhorse with foil sheets and blankets to help warm her up if they found her,and a Radio as Mobile phone signals wont work out there.
All of them had there Leather capes with hoods to protect them from the rain and cold.
They moved off and searched using the 90,000 Lumins Torches if they needed them.

Amy was cold and wet, she'd curled herself up in the conifer branches and dragged some up over the top of her to try to hold heat in.
After an hour one group were getting closer to where she was.
Amy looked at her watch and saw 6pm,  she could feel the temperature  dropping and the rain had now turned to Snow which meant the wind could blow it around which it was doing.
Amy had put her hat on the edge of the overhang with some Rocks along the rim so it hung down and would hopefully be seen.
She'd completely covered herself with more Conifer branches as the snow was coming through and now she was more protected but getting much colder.

The teams were riding through the woods looking everywhere but with the Snow now settling it means that if they were looking for Amy on the ground it wouldn't be long before she was covered with snow, if she was unconscious that wasn't good.
Lisa knew Amy was always thinking out of the box so told those with her to look for signs as Amy was very likely to leave something showing for them to see where she was.

Amy was now shivering and wished Soraya was with her, but as time moved on she was becoming more depressed and thinking of Jordan and if she isn't found soon they will soon be together.
Amy was starting to get blurred Vision,  she was becoming disorientated and Just wanted to sleep, confusion was also starting to take over as she thought she heard Jordan telling her to go to sleep and they'd be together soon. Eventually Amy fell into a deep sleep.
The snowflakes were getting bigger and were falling faster  the other two teams hadn't found her and radioed the other RCMP officer who was with Lisa's group to inform him.
"Lisa, the other teams haven't found her and are heading back".
"Okay, I suspected she'd take this Trail ride, keep your eyes open for any signs".
Ty had decided to Join them when he heard what had happened and when Soraya heard she had a row with her Mum, that this wouldn't have happened if she'd gone with her like she was supposed to.
Maggie was feeling quilty.
Ty caught up to Lisa about 7pm.
"LISA,  you've past her I think ".
"What do you mean past her".
"Her hat is hanging on the Overhang of those rocks back in that direction".
"I didn't see a hat".
"I almost missed it, under the overhang is covered in snow but there's something there that looks like a cocoon".
"Okay let's go and see if she's there".
They all rode through the Snow which was getting very deep by now.
"Can you see her Hat Lisa".
"Omg how did we miss it".
They all approached the Large Nest, which was the only way to describe what it looked like.
Two RCMP officers had there guns ready Just in case it was an animal.
"Ty, gently started taking the top off slowly".
He started to brush the snow off first then started on the Branches, Lisa started as well with the Officer's ready  they came to the last two branches and were surprised when they saw Amy laying in a Fetus position.
"Oh thank god she used her imagination".
Ty checked her pulse  which was slow and she was very cold, one of the RCMP officers had a medical kit with her and took Amy's temperature which was Low 34.9c which is hyperthermic.
"We need to get her wrapped up in the foil sheet and then in the Arctic sleeping bag, her temperature is far to low".
"What about baby".
"Lisa, did you see how she wrapped herself in the Fetus position and arms across her stomach ,  She was making sure the baby would be well insulated  till she was found  come on let's get her out of here".
The other Officer radioed to the officers at Fairfield to get a medi flight as they had found Amy but she was suffering from Hyperthermia and to collect her from them as it will take another hour to get back. He gave them there location and there was a clear area for the Helicopter to winch her up".
