6 Months Later

Over the last 6 months Amy had been getting the Nursery ready , the Baby Girl Amy was expecting would be in her room to start with, Tim looked out the swinging Crib from there Loft that Jack made for Marion and she used it for Lou and then Amy, Lou didn't want it when she had her first as Jack made it. Amy bought a new set of Cradle bedding including a new Mattress .
Jordans parents John and Vera followed up on the Autopsy of the horse and took the owners of the Rodeo to Court, even more so when Amy phoned them to let them know that Jordan and herself were going to make them Grandparents and that she was 12 weeks when she phoned.
The court ruled in Amy's favour.
The court expressed that no amount of money could replace her husband but the money he would of earned and the Money Amy would of earned if both parents had been working. Plus the Death was needless due to the actions of the owner and made sure he paid for it, his Insurance Company had to pay up and he went to prison.
Amy was awarded $10 Million US Dollars.

When Amy got her compensation she kept it quiet and saw the bank manager, she wanted no one to know about it, the one thing she did organise was a Garage built onto the side of her Barn/Apartment which joined up to the Stairs so she could go in straight from the Garage, it also stopped Jack being nosey trying to see
if she was in.

Amy was due soon and she phoned Vera and John.
"Hi Vera it's Amy".
"Oh my, have you".
"Ha ha, No not yet but any day now and I'd like you and John here with me and you in the labour room as your my Mother-in-law and I don't have my Mum to be with me or my husband, will you Vera".
"I certainly will Amy, I don't know what John has planned, but I will be with you".
"Thank you".

Amy's truck was outside as she waddled towards it, she was going to pick up Vera from Calgary Airport.
Jack was Just riding back after checking the cattle.
"I'm sorry to hear about your Husband Amy".
He carried on riding past.
"Thank you".
Then Jack heard Amy's truck drive off.
After Jack had put his horse away he decided to go to Maggie's for Lunch and set off up the drive, as he got towards the Gate he checked to see if he had any post and noticed that there were now three post boxes, the New one was painted pink and had Mrs Amy Fleming Morris on the side.
"Pink, I'm not having Pink at my front gate".
Jack checked to see if there was any post and it was empty so pulled it off the fence and threw it in the back of the Truck then continued to Maggie's for his Lunch.

Amy was waiting for Vera to come through the Arrival doors.
"Amy, look how big you are".
"Vera, and John, brilliant, I'm so happy your here".
"I'm glad you were found in that Storm".
"Honestly Vera that Storm came out of no where, I'd been away so long I forgot to take precautions just incase".
"Well at least you were both okay, that's what matters Amy".
They started the Drive back home and John asked Amy how things were.
"Well no one knows about the Compensation, I've kept quiet about that especially regarding my Father and Jack".
"How has Jack been towards you Amy, considering what you told us about you being the one to get him arrested".
"He's keeping his distance, keeps up with the occasional quips but I ignore him, I think Dad may have said something ".
As they got back to Heartland Amy pressed her button and the Garage doors opened, Amy drove in and the doors closed behind them.
"Nice little set up Amy".
"Well safety and security, Come on let's get you settled in".
They got out and grabbed their luggage following Amy up the stairs to the door, John was impressed when Amy entered a code then it asked for her retinal scan.
"Wow you don't take chances Amy".
"Actually this was my mother's doing because of him and she still didn't trust him,  Me,  I thought she was being over the top, I loved Grampa until everything changed after Mum Died, and after he did what, you know, to me I knew she was right, that's why I phoned the police. Then I found out about Mum, my Sister Lou and what he did, he blames me for ruining his Engagement but he did that himself when he attacked me. Anyway let's get some coffee on the go shall we".
While the coffee was brewing Amy showed them the Nursery and then there room where they'd be staying .
