Chapter 22

Eventually Amy pulled into the Heartland Drive and drove down to her Apartment,  as she pulled her truck down the Left hand side of the Barn she saw her dad run out towards her, Tim wrapped her in his arms and she cried, not Just because of Jordan but also because she was home, she wished Jordan was here with her Just like he should of been. Tim helped Amy get her Luggage up stairs, when Marion and Tim had the Apartment built they built a small extension on the side so the Stairs were inside protected from the Snow and Ice, but when Amy entered her passkey into the security pad by the Front door it had been changed, and Amy knew by who.
Amy phoned the security company up asking why she couldn't get into her Apartment.
"You changed the Passkey Miss Fleming".
"Well I informed you two weeks ago that I'd got married  and my name was now Mrs Amy Morris and I asked if my Passkey was still valid as I'd been at Colorado University for 4 years, you should have a record of that.
"Why did you change the Passkey!!".
"I Didn't,  my Grandfather must of done it,  he did have control for a year before he went to prison,  he must of still had the App controller on his phone when he was released,  I was living in my Apartment before I left for university,  so why given my age of 22 almost 23 did you allow him access.
"Hold on please, I will get my manager".
"Hello Mrs Morris,  I do apologise for this mix up".
"The only mix up is having my Grandfather still on the system, now please delete him like I asked you to and bar him from anymore activity".
"Right I've done that , I Just need a new retinal scan if you'd look into the scanner by your door please.
Amy did that and they confirmed her scan with the one on file then gave her a new Passkey.
Amy had got entry finally and she'd bought shopping with her.
"Let's get the coffee on the go, then I need a sleep".

Soraya was serving when Ty walked in. "Hey Soraya how you doing,  your Mum said you were ill the other day".
"No I wasn't ill, I was grieving for Amy".
"You mean she's,,,,,,, ".
"No, Amy's  grieving for her Husband of three weeks,  he was killed at the Rodeo".
"Oh no, that's terrible, how's she coping Soraya".
"I don't really know, she text me last night to go on a trail ride as she needs to talk".
"So Amy's back at Heartland ".
"Must be if she wants to meet up".

Amy and Tim had coffee and a quick chat, "I'm so sorry I couldn't make Jordans Funeral Amy, Jack knew I wanted to go to Colorado then disappeared for 2 days".
"It's okay Dad don't worry".
Tim went off to get some work done and Amy went to bed and looking at the empty space cried herself to sleep.
Amy didn't wake up till 7am the next morning,  she didn't realise how tired she really was. She still felt like her head was in the clouds, had no motivation to do anything.
She got her self up and made a drink then at 8am she phoned the Doctor's to book an appointment. As she was meeting Soraya at 11am she accepted the appointment for 10am that morning.

Amy walked into the Doctor's and booked in at reception,  she waited until Dr Virani called her in.
"So Amy Fleming Morris ??, I haven't seen you for 4 years ".
"Yeah I've been at University in Colorado, then 4 weeks ago I got Married  and became a Widow 3 weeks later,  on top of that I'm about 3 months pregnant I think".
Amy was crying at this point after realising how much had happened in such a short time.
"Amy, I'm so sorry to here that,
How are you coping with all that emotion,  I'm here to help you sweetheart".
"I was passing out a lot, the Hospital  said it was Blood Pressure  from PTSD and Anxiety,  but First thing is our baby okay, he or she is all I have left of him".
"Let's check shall we".

"Baby's Fine Amy, and your 12 weeks, at 20 weeks we can find out if it's a Boy or girl, here's the scan for you".
"Thank you".
"Now what about you , be honest with me Amy because I want to help you".
Amy spoke to Dr Virani and explained how she was feeling,  like Dark Clouds  hanging around,  and no get up and go, feeling Numb.
"Okay, I'm going to give you some tablets to just take the edge off, there none addictive and won't hurt you or Baby and it's only for a couple of months to help you relax, I also want you to come to the Clinic and see Ruth  she's a sort of counsellor but mainly she'll listen and help you with your feelings okay".
"Thank you that would help me alot".
"Good she's here every Tuesday and Thursday 9am till 4pm, I'll see you at 20 weeks, we'll send you an appointment Amy".
"Thanks, Bye".
Amy went straight to Maggie's as she felt hungry..
