Lisa saw an expensive Large Truck come round into the Heartland Ranch. "Jack, Amy's home".
"How, who with".
"Hey, at least the young man brought her home like a gentleman, Soraya said they were a nice Family and the Eldest was really nice".

"Thanks for bringing me home Ty".
"Your welcome Amy, and may I see you again please ".
"Yes, I'd like that Ty, bye, see you soon".

"Hi Grandpa, what's up".
"Your late home from school, and who was that".
"That as you put it was Tyler Borden, his Parents bought Briar Ridge off Val"
"Well I'd of liked to of met him, and spoken to him"
As they walked in Lisa could hear what was going on.
"What you mean is warned him off me like you kept warning Jesse off, am I not allowed to have a Life.
You may be my Grandfather but your Not my father, your controlling my life and I won't stand for it, I know dad hasn't been the same since the Crash but even he didn't treat Jesse the way you did.
When I phoned Val, Jesse said he left me because of your threats to cut off any part of him that touched me, that's why I wanted Ty to go before you embarrassed me or yourself. I'd only just met him and we got carried away (Doing What) , TALKING, get your mind out of the gutter Grandpa. I've had enough of this I'm going home".
"You Can't ".
"Yes I can, dad's locked up for a minimum of 18 months and it's my home".
"I won't allow it Amy".
"You can't stop me".
"This Ranch is mine so I make the rules".
"Not when I'm on our land which Mum and Dad have the Deeds for so back off Grampa, I'd rather be taken into care until I'm 18 than stay here with you".

"STOP IT BOTH OF YOU".

Amy walked off to her room slaming the Bedroom door when it suddenly opened and a very shocked Amy found herself suddenly on the floor with her head ringing after a very hard slap from her Grandfather, the back of her head hurt and the room was spinning.
It was so out of character.
Amy curled up on the floor.
She couldn't believe she'd left an abusive home with her father and now she was in the same situation, albeit the first time with Jack but it could happen again.
She looked at herself in the bottom part of the full length mirror and her lip was bust and bleeding a lot , her cheek and eye was swollen, her eye badly bloodshot, she could feel something running down the back of her neck and put her fingers there, when she looked she saw blood, Amy took a photo and phoned the RCMP. She could hear Lisa and Jack Arguing as he wouldn't let her come to see if she was alright.
Amy went to get up but passed out.

Lisa was ripping into Jack asking what he'd done to Amy when he followed her into her bedroom and it suddenly went quiet.
"I'm going to ask you one more time Jack Bartlett what did you do".
"What I needed to do".
Just then Lisa heard and saw the RCMP Cruiser approaching the house.
"Well it looks like Amy's phoned for help and I don't blame her jack after what Tim did, and now you. Who the hell are you Jack, your suddenly nothing like the person I agreed to Marry.
'Knock Knock.'
"Hello can I help you".
"Mr Bartlett, ( Yes ) where is Miss Amy Fleming sir".
"Why do you want to know".
"We had a call about a young woman in distress Sir, now we want to see her".
"Do you have a warrant".
"We do not need one as an underage young woman has phoned for help".

"This way officers, I'll take you, he wouldn't let me go to her either".
They followed Lisa to Amy's bedroom but the door was locked.
"Mr Bartlett, the key please".
"Can't remember where I put it".
The Officer nodded to the other and he kicked the door open, Lisa ran in and found Amy on the floor passed out, blood all over her face, and pooling from the back of her head on the carpet.
"JACK, WERE FINISHED".
One officer called for an Ambulance and then arrested Jack, the other officer helped Lisa check Amy over.
"There's a big bump on the back of her head" he pulled his hand away and it was covered in blood explaining why Amy was unconscious, "and that looks like strangulation marks".
" She must of hit her head, but he couldn't of tried to strangle her officer he wasn't in here long enough, I heard the slap then he came out and locked the bedroom door, we started arguing because I wanted to see her ".
The officer looked around and saw blood on the corner of the dressing table and the exterior door was slightly open. He took photos of everything he needed.
Lisa was still so shocked at what had happened to Amy again. She knew Jack was old school but this was not Jack, or was it, she didn't know what he was like with Marion.
The Ambulance turned up and Amy was on her way with Lisa by her side .
