Chapter 2

Marion had a few words with Carlton before they left telling him she'd be keeping an eye on him and making regular check ups to see if he had any horses.
Marion and Amy set off home but the weather was getting really bad.
Tim was looking out through their kitchen window seeing the sudden storm getting worse and the wind increasing in strength and speed.
"Mum, this wind is getting stronger".
"I know Amy, we may have to pull over and shelter somewhere ".
Just then they saw a large cattle Truck coming towards them go up in the air and roll over and over before crashing down, then they lifted up but their Trailer with the Mare in it came loose and drifted into the trees as Marion and Amy flipped over and over.
"Hold on Amy this is going to hurt when we hit the ground".

Tim was looking out the window and as quickly as the storm started it finished. Tim tried Marion's phone but got no answer, so he tried Amy's but again there was no answer.
Tim put the Radio on the local channel for any news about the Storm. It wasn't long until there was a Newsflash about Vehicles being lifted into the air and then coming back down causing a lot of injuries and Deaths.
But that was all they said. Tim decided to phone the RCMP incase they had any news.
"Hello Mr Fleming, I was about to phone you".
"That doesn't sound good".
"Unfortunately it isn't Tim, Marion and Amy are both seriously injured, their truck was lifted up and eye witnesses said the wind threw them into a Cattle Truck that had been thrown off the road earlier, there at Hudson General, Tim, I would hurry, there both critical".
" Omg, Okay thank you Barry. "JACK".
"What's up Tim".
"Marion and Amy were in that Storm, it's serious Jack, we need to get to the Hospital as soon as possible, the officer said they were both Critical".

As Tim and Jack walked into the hospital it was pandemonium, people were on stretchers and laying on the floor with all sorts of injuries, blood was everywhere, people had bones poking out of there skin.
Jack made it to the reception desk and gave Marion's and Amy's names and his and Tim's relationship to them.
They were both taken to see Marion and Amy, both looked terrible, Marion had to be cut out of the Truck and the Nurses had cleaned them both up as best as they could for now.
The Doctor explained that they should spend time with Marion first as she'd been hurt the worst, Amy had been put into a coma. Marion passed away that evening having never woken up. Amy spent Three months due to her injuries in hospital.
Three Months after Amy got home it was her 17th Birthday Party held at Maggie's.
Jack and Lisa dropped her off at home as Tim wasn't in any fit state to drive.
"Amy, if there's any problems, phone us okay".
"Okay Grampa,thank you".
"Make sure you use that walking aid until the physio starts helping".
"Will do, Grampa".
"Jack, let the girl go inside the house, and stop fussing, your like an old Mother Hen".
Jack shut up and drove to the main Ranch House, Amy could hear Lisa laughing as they drove off.

Amy walked in to her home and could smell the Alcohol straight away.
"Hi Dad, missed you at my Party".
"Well at least your still here to celebrate one" 'hic'.
" Only Just Dad, if you remember, Drinking isn't going to help you at all,
'DAD' NO".
The Ranch House phone rang and Jack answered.
"Grampa help me please ".
"Where are you Amy".
"In my room and the doors locked, but Dad keeps hitting the door , I don't know how long before it gives Grampa".
"We're on our way Amy".
