Chapter 24

The Next Day.....

Tonight they will be drawing the name for the tournament. Kaitlin has been hanging out with her brother all day just her and him occasionally the others would come and go but mostly it's just been Kaitlin and Harry.

"Come on so we can watch Fred and George put their names in." Harry said as they walked into the great hall sitting down next to the others. "Here they come." Ron said as they turned and looked at the twins. "Bottoms up." Fred and George both said linking their arms downing the potion in the hands.

They both grew a grey beard along with grey hair standing up. They both pulled out a piece of paper with their names on it and looked at the circle forming around the Goblet. They jumped in as kids watched them. They placed their pieces of paper in the goblet before they got thrown out landing on the butts. They started to wrestle with each other.

Kaitlin shook her head watching them when someone caught her attention. "I'll be back." She said getting up walking over to Jake. "Your entering." She asked as he walked out from the circle. "Yeah I am." He said staring down at her as he towered over her. "Be careful if your name gets pulled I'm serious Jake I don't want you getting hurt." She told him.

"I'll be careful don't worry Kate and I think you should head back over to your table because it looks like your friend is gonna hex me." He said pointing to Harry as she turned around and saw him glaring at Jake. She connected eyes with Harry as he gave her a smile as she playfully rolled her eyes.

"I see Potter adores you." Jake said. "Beside who wouldn't your just too adorable." He said as she turned back and looked at him. "Oh hush but thank you I am adorable." She said with a grin. "You cheeky witch." He said.

"What do you think he's saying making her smile." Enzo asked. "Probably asking her out." Lia said as John Lupin and Harry and Enzo both glared at her. "Oh look he's kissing her cheek and here she comes now." Enzo said as she walked back over.

"That your boyfriend." Lia asked. "No my friend." She told them as they stared at her. "Friends don't kiss each other." Enzo said. "Yes they do I kiss all my friends cheeks and besides he always done that since we were little." She said. "So you know him." Harry asked. "Yeah I do he's my friend who I happen to see now haven't seen him in years though." She said honestly.

"Look it's starting." Enzo said as they all turned their attention to the front. "Welcome welcome shall we get started now." Dumbledore said as everyone sat and some stood up.

The goblet turned a red color before letting a piece of paper out.

"From the great ladies of Beaubaxton Fluer Delacoure." He said as Kaitlin clapped for her happily. She was happy she had the guts to do it. She walked to the front and stood next to her headmistress. Another piece of paper flew out as he caught it.

"From Durstrang Victor Krum." He said as Kaitlin still clapped for them out of respect. She looked over at Jake and gave him a small smile which he smiled back. Another piece of paper flew out as he caught it again.

"From Hogwarts Cedric Diggory." He said as she and most students clapped for him as he smiled and walked up next to the other champions. Two more pieces of paper flew out as he began to speak but caught them. "Harry Potter." He said. "Harry Potter and Kaitlin De La Martel." He said as Kaitlin froze.

Hermione shook her snapping her out of it. "You have to go up their you and Harry." Hermione said as she shook her head. "Come on." Harry said as they both walked up their as many students began to whisper.

They went to a room with the other champions waiting for the Professors. Dumbledore came running in as Kaitlin froze at the sudden movement. He grabbed Harry's collar. "Did you put your name in the goblet of fire." Dumbledore asked him. "N-No sir." He said as Dumbledore looked at Kaitlin who was immediately shaking her head no before he could even ask her.
