Chapter 23

Today the kids go back to the castle. They got their stuff they needed last week all together. "Come on." Lily told the kids as they all walked into the train station running through the wall. Kaitlin walked a little behind everyone not wanting to be a center of attention with all of the other pure blood kids.

James looked around and didn't see her. He looked back and saw her a little bit behind them. "Go ahead I'll catch up." James told Lily walking over to Kaitlin. "Kaitlin." He said getting her attention as she looked up at him. "Yeah." She said. "What's wrong." He said.

"Nothings wrong." She said not meeting his eyes. "Kaitlin I can tell when someone is wrong so please tell me what's wrong." He told her as they walked. "I just don't want to be judge by the other pure blood kids I mean just last year I wasn't talking to you guys at all well besides during winter break but now I'm living with you guys-Because your my daughter and we want you their and we love you."

He said cutting her off making her smile. "I know it's just I'm not ready for all the stares and whispers yet it was nice just staying home without having any eyes on me." She said. "Don't worry we'll still be their and if you need anything me and Lily are their if you need anything." He told her as they caught up to the others.

"Promise." She said staring at him. "I promise." He said giving her a hug. "Alright you kids better get on that train now before you miss it we will see you guys their." Lily told them as James let go of her. "Bye dad bye Lily." She said before walking off with the other kids after they bid their goodbyes.

"Bye." They both said waving to her. "Oh it feels like we're just sending them off for the first time." Lily said as they laughed.

The kids got into their compartment sitting down. "I have to go find someone but I will see you guys in a bit." She said getting up again. "Who is it a boy because Kate-No Harry it's not a boy but don't worry." She told him cutting him off before walking out going to the Slytherin compartments.

She walked in looking for Pansy. She shortly found her sitting down with the boys as usual. "Hey Kaitlin so glad your here now." Pansy said getting up giving her a hug. "Glad your here too Pans now tell me how is your cat." She said as they sat down together as the boys stared at the two girls.

"She's good but she doesn't like Blaise I don't know why but I finally picked out a name." Pansy told her making her smile. "Are we gonna ignore the fact that she's talking and smiling." Theodore Nott said getting smacked by Enzo. "Well what's her name." "Snowball she really white so why not snowball." Pansy said making her laugh.

"Of course snowball but i overheard my dad saying something is gonna be happening this year. I didn't mean to ease drop but it sorta happened." She said. "Don't worry we'll be ease dropping on tons of people this year but what do you think is happening." Pansy asked.

"I don't know I walked off not wanting to ease drop anymore." She said as Pansy shook her head. "So what you two friends now." Matteo asked. "Best friends not just friends." Pansy said making her giggle. "Yes we are." Kaitlin said.

Blaise started to touch her face and hair. "Is she real Pansy that's creepy you made a live person to look exactly like Kaitlin and talk." Blaise said as Pansy smacked his hands away. "I did not do such a thing if anything this is very much Kaitlin who I so luckily got to be friends with and leave her alone." Pansy told them.

"Seriously what did she do she pay you." Theo asked as Pansy's jaw dropped open. "Cause if she did how much I want to your friend too." Blaise said. "She didn't pay anything." Kaitlin told them as they stared at her poking her arm as Pansy smacked their hands away. "Leave her alone will you." Pansy said sighing.

"Have you talked to Ares." Matteo said as she stayed quiet. "I prefer not too." She said as her smile went away. "Yeah we prefer not to speak of him." Pansy said. "What happened between you two." Enzo asked. "Anyways Pansy I'm not trying out for quidditch anymore." She said.
