KAITLIN POTTER

The party has started but I'm still upstairs. I'm not as tired as I was earlier. I got dressed and now it's time to go downstairs. I got off my bed and walked downstairs following the directions Harry gave me earlier while I was getting ready. I stared at the door before pushing it open seeing all my friends and family in here.

"SURPRISE."

They all shouted as Harry walked over to me hugging me. "Happy birthday little sister." He said as I hugged him tighter. "Thank you Harry for all of this." I told him pulling away. "We invited all your friends and even the Slytherin ones and the ones from the school." He told me.

"We put aside our egos and came all together just for you." He said making my smile widened. "Your the best brother ever Harry." I said hugging him once more. "Ouch Kaitlin." I heard my brothers say as I turned and saw them.

"Happy birthday Kate." They both said as I mumbled a thank you. "Where's dad." I asked noticing he wasn't in here. "I don't know." Harry said as I frowned a but. "I'll be back." I said before walking off looking for him. He wouldn't work during my birthday would he.

Maybe he went bathroom that's all but the door is open and nobody in their. Last place is his office. I gently knocked before entering it. "Dad what are you doing." I asked him as he looked up at me. "Come here." He said as I walked over to him as he turned facing me pulling out a long rectangular box.

"Open it." He told me handing me it as I opened it. I opened it seeing it was a beautiful necklace with the initials K.E.P on it. "Is that-Your initials Kaitlin Elena Potter you are the only living heiress as of right now till your brother has kids but you will always have a place in my heart no matter what happens." He told me grabbing it.

I turned around lifting my hair up as he placed the necklace on me clipping it. I turned around letting go of my hair. "You are my daughter whether you like it or not but you are and I love you so much it hurts and I'm scared to let you go. We didn't have much time together but all the moments we spent I loved every single one of them." He told me wiping away the tears that fell down my cheek.

"I love you dad and I loved all of our moments together." I told him hugging him. "Come on today is your birthday no need to cry your seventeen today my baby is sixteen today and we are gonna make every last moment fun now come on." He told me pulling away wiping my tears. "Come on Lily is waiting for us." He told me as we walked out together.

Today is Kaitlin's birthday we all got invited. Hope told us what was going on with her. "Have you tried vampire blood for her." Rebekah asked Hope as she nodded her head. "She didn't want it we talked about it a week ago." Hope said looking down.

"Here she comes." Rebekah said as Hope looked up with a smile. "Happy birthday Kate." Hope told her. "Thank you Hope I'm so glad your all here." She said looking at us all. "Is that new." Hope asked as looking at her necklace. "Yeah my dad got it for me." She said with a bright smile that can make anyone else smile.

"Is Lizzie and Josie-Right here." The twins said as she turned around facing them. "So glad you guys can make it as well." She said hugging them both. "How you feeling." Josie asked her. "Alright let's go dance." She said changing the subject. "Yeah let's go." Hope said as the four of them walked off.

"She only two years younger than them." Freya said. "They say what caused it." Hayley asked. "No they didn't." "Excuse has anyone seen my sister she's about this high." He said putting his hand under his shoulder. "Black hair hazel eyes super talkative." He said. "Kaitlin?" Hayley said as he nodded his head. "Yup that's her I'm Elijah by the way but did you happen to see where she went." He said. "She's dancing with the girls right over their." I told him as he nodded his head.

"Well excuse me I'm going to go steal her for a minute." He said before walking off.

KAITLIN POTTER

Elijah brought me to the kitchen saying he and Nik need to tell me something. They sat me down and told me not to get up and just wait here. "What is the birthday girl doing in here." I heard Lily say walking over to me. "Lijah and Nik told me to wait here for them." I told her as she walked over to me.

"I love you Lily." I told her. "I love you more Kaitlin." She told me. "Here I didn't know what to get you so I got you this." She said handing me a small box. I opened it revealing a beautiful ring. "You didn't have too you already gave me so much." I told her. "I wanted to and-You gave me love Lily before you asked you showed me what's it like to have a mothers love." I told her as she stayed quiet. "Kaitlin I'm not trying to replace your mom-You have because you gave me something she couldn't do was love me.

I'd rather have you as my mom not anyone else you are my mom Lily only if you want to." I told her. "I'd love to be your mom Kaitlin." She said wiping away her tears. "But still wear it it'll look beautiful on you." She told me as I nodded my head putting it on. "Everything is finally complete." I said as she stared at me confused.

"What do you mean." She asked. "My family it's all complete now that I have you and dad and Harry and my brothers." I told her as she smiled hugging me. "I love you mom." I said as I smiled. "I love you more baby." She said kissing the top of my head.

"Here open this." The boys told me as I did seeing it was a picture of the three of us. "I love it thank you guys." I told them. "I'm going to put it in my room right now." I said grabbing it and going upstairs to my room. I walked to the side of my bed getting hit with a wave of dizziness.

I placed the picture frame down on the side dresser next to the one of me and my dad. I smiled to myself letting out another yawn. I laid on the bed just for a minute that's all. I can burly keep my eyes open so I just let them close just for a minute. That's all. I'm so happy everyone is here and all.
