KAITLIN POTTER

Today is my birthday yay. Dad and Harry said their having a surprise for me but I don't know what their doing. They said I can't go near the ball room or dads office or the living room. So I can only go to the kitchen that's it.

But I'm to tired to get out of bed today anyways. I showered and all just go lay back down. I let out a yawn again feeling more tired. I've been tired more lately theirs been days where I can burly keep my eyes open.

I got out of bed throwing on a sweater seeing it was cold again. I walked to the kitchen and saw Elijah and Nik. "Theirs the birthday girl." Elijah said with a smile. "Can we go somewhere." I asked them as they stared at me. "Sure yeah let's go." Nik said as I kept blinking to stay awake.

"Where too though." Elijah asked me grabbing his stuff. "I want to go see mom." I said as they stayed quiet. "Are you sure Kaitlin." Nik asked as I nodded my head. They looked at Lily as she sighed. "Make sure she home by five and be careful please." She said as they nodded their heads.

I grabbed Nik's hand as we apprated to the manor. I felt like throwing up from that. "Are you sure Kate." Elijah asked as I nodded my head. "You stay here." I told them. "We're not letting you go in alone." Nik said. "Please just two minutes and I'll be out." I said as they sighed. "Two minutes if not we're barging in." Nik said as I walked in shutting the door.

"I've been waiting for you to come." I heard my mothers voice. "Don't worry they ain't here." She said as I walked over to her. "I see it happened your dying." She said it like it's the most normal thing in the world even though it is but I'm her child. "How long." She asked. "Doctor said any day to a week." I told her standing in front of her.

"Im sorry if I did anything to make you hate me I'm sorry for not getting into Slytherin and I'm sorry for being born." I told her. If I was gonna die I'm not gonna die not without speaking to her first. "I don't know what I did for you to hate me so much but I still love you mom even if you hate me." I told her. "The boys are waiting for me I just wanted to tell you that." I said boutta walk off when she started to speak.

"I don't hate you. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me you and your siblings all of them. I'm sorry for being a terrible mother you didn't deserve that and I know sorry ain't gonna cut it but I hope you find everything you need in a mother from Lily she was always better at being a parent and I was jealous so I took it out on mostly you." She told me.

"I wish you the best Kaitlin also those dreams you've been getting aren't dreams." She told me. "You made my life hell you hid my dad from me and now as I get to know him I'm dying and it sucks mom because I don't want to leave my dad why do you think I held on all last week for dad I'm scared of dying as much as I act like I don't I am very scared." I told her as she stayed quiet.

"Dad helped me more than you ever have he's only known me half a year and he's been a better parent than you and you raised me or I raised myself practically but that's why I'm holding on. He taught me stuff he could've done when I was little he taught me how to ride broom and all that even if I'm scared of heights he was their. More than you and I'm sorry for being a mistake mom but in a day or two you won't have to worry no more." I told as I walked out wiping away my tears.

"I wanna go home I wanna go see my dad now." I said holding onto Elijah as we apprated home and I immediately started looking for my dad. "Hey you can't come in here yet." My dad as I walked over hugging him. He hugged me back immediately. "What's wrong." He asked rubbing my back. "I just missed you." I told him pulling away seeing his smile.

"Come on let's go before Harry catches us." He said as we walked out the living room. "Dad I love you you know that right." I told him. "Yes I do and I love you very much more than you love me no one can ever hurt my little girl they'll have to go through me first." He said as I smiled.

"Can you please tell me what you guys are doing." I asked him as we entered the kitchen sitting down. "I can't ruin your surprise-please dad I don't like surprise's so please tell me." I told him as he stared at me. "Don't James Harry is gonna be mad." Lily told him as I gave him puppy eyes.

"Kaitlin-ugh fine it's a surprise party for you." My dad said as I grinned. "Seriously James." Lily said as i laughed. "Couldn't have let Harry been the one to tell her you just lost me ten gallons." Marlene said handing it to Sirius.

"But yes we're throwing you a party cause it much of a surprise now are you happy or no cause we can definitely-It don't matter dad as long as I get to spend it with guys that's all that matters." I said letting out another yawn.

"Tired." Lily asked as I nodded my head. "Why don't you go lay down for a bit." Elijah told me as I shook my head. "No I'm not that tired I'll be alright." I told them. "Well are you hungry at least." My dad asked as I shook my head. I haven't had a big appetite like I use too.
