JAMES POTTER

I have been looking for Kaitlin for some time now but haven't found her. I walked over to Lily to see if she knows where she's at. "Hey darling." She said kissing my cheek. "Hey where's Kaitlin the Weasley twins want to show her something." I asked as her as her friends walked over.

"Have you girls seen Kaitlin." I asked them as they nodded their heads. "She's upstairs-I walked off before they could finish their sentence. I don't want her alone upstairs what if something happens. I walked in her room and saw her laying down.

I walked over to her tapping her arm feeling her cold body. I shook her gently but nothing. Kaitlin ain't a heavy sleeper. "Kaitlin baby it's me dad wake up I want to show you something." I told her but nothing.

I checked her breathing she wasn't breathing. Oh god my baby girl ain't breathing. "James." I heard Lily say as I picked her up. "James she gone where are you taking her." She asked me trying not to cry. "To the hospital I'm not letting my daughter die." I said before appearing to the hospital.

"Help she's not breathing somebody please help." I yelled as nurses rushed over grabbing her from me. "We got her don't worry." A nurse told me as I sighed. They wouldn't let me back their with her she can't be gone how do I know if she died with pain or she died peacefully or anything.

Doctors nurses rushed in and out of her room you can hear yelling from her room but I just need my baby to be okay and alive. Forget this I'm not just gonna stand here and wait for them I walked over to her room walking in as I hear a doctor say. "Time of death 10:49." He said as I felt my heart drop hearing that.

"You got to save her you got to save my baby." I said as they turned and looked at me. "Theirs nothing else we can do I am sorry for your loss." The doctor said as I walked over to her. "Their has to be a way a way for her to come back please." I begged them I can't lose my baby girl.

"We'll give you some privacy." The doctor said as they all walked out shutting the door. "Oh baby girl I'm sorry I wasn't their for you in your final moment but I love you I always have since the moment I met you and loved you more when I found out." I told her trying not to cry but failed seeing as I had tears down my cheeks down to my chin.

"I will forever cherish our moment together from you calling me dad to our finals moment in my office together." I said breaking down crying. "James." I heard Lily said as I turned around looking at her as she has tears in her eyes. "She's gone my little girl is gone." I said walking over hugging her trying not to cry anymore.

"I didn't get to tell her I love her one last time I didn't get to hear it from her one last time." I said. "She loves your James she said it herself earlier." She said hugging me tighter.

THIRD PERSON POV

The party ended early seeing as everything happened. The girl sat with their parents as everyone sat on the couch not saying a word. "Their at the hospital." Mary said as they looked at her. "Is she-Mary shook her head as they stayed quiet. "We didn't even get to sing happy birthday to her." Harry said sitting next to his grandmother as she held him.

"Kaitlin always talked about having one last birthday." Hope spoke up. "That was the only thing she ever wanted was to be surrounded by her family and friends." Lizzie said. "She always talked about you all about how you are and how fun you guys are and that she missed you guys everyday." Josie said as Caroline held her daughters.

"I just can't believe my baby sister is gone." Harry said. "We can't be sad." Pansy spoke up. "What do you mean." Hope asked. "Kaitlin wouldn't want us to be sad she would want us to celebrate have fun but not she would want us to be all together." Pansy said.

"She's right Kate wouldn't want us to be sad that she's gone she never liked it when someone was sad because of her so every year on her birthday and her anniversary of her death and holidays we'll all come together in honor of Kaitlin that's the only proper way she'd want us to do it." Elijah said as they all agreed.

James and Lily both came home not expecting everyone to still be their. "What are you guys still doing here." Lily asked holding onto her husband. "We've decided every holiday birthday death anniversary we're all gonna be here in if Kaitlin cause we all know she wouldn't want us to be sad she'd want us to be happy and celebrate her life." Nik said as Lily and James looked at each other. "She'd love that." James said with a sad smile. "Yeah we'll do that in honor of Kaitlin." Lily said as they sat down next to Harry.
