Every year each birthday each holiday each anniversary they all came together in honor of Kaitlin. It's been a been twelve years since Kaitlin has been gone.

They did make their promise on staying in touch. By now everyone has kids and all. The kids are all on Christmas break right now. "Everest get down here." Harry shouted for his twelve year old daughter. "Yeah dad." She said walking over to him. Everest looked exactly like her aunt.

As she got older she started to resemble her more. James almost cried remembering the first time he saw Kaitlin at the train station. When he first met his granddaughter and when they told him her name he started crying.

"Your grandma is calling you." He said as she closed her book letting out a sigh before walking off. "She's exactly like Kate." Pansy said as they nodded their heads. "Yeah she is." Harry said. "Sometimes I think Everest was reincarnated into Kaitlin there so much alike it's creepy sometimes." Ginny said.

"She definitely took after Kate." Hope said with a small laugh. "Has anyone seen Everest." James asked walking over to them. "With mom." Harry answered him as he sighed. "Theirs always together no matter what." James said.

"Look dad grandma made cookies." She said walking over to her father. "Are you ready for quidditch-Nope no way I'm not doing it." Everest said as James smiled. "Oh come on it'll be fun." Harry said trying to convince her. "No at the castle I got hit with the broom and I'm scared of heights dad." Everest said as James remember when he tried getting Kaitlin on a broom.

"Come on just once." Ginny said as she shook her head. "No now if you excuse me I'll be in my room reading my book." Everest said kissing her dads cheek before walking off. "Mini Kaitlin all right their." Lorenzo said as they laughed.

"Totally." Lily said. "Albus James Lily come down." Ginny said. "Yes mom." They all said running in with dirt all of over them. "I don't want to know but go clean up before dinner and when your done let your sister know dinner is down." Harry said as they ran upstairs.

"What do you think Kaitlin is doing right now." Lizzie said. "Probably watching over us and laughing as of right now." Josie said as they laughed. "Dad who is this and why does she look like med." Everest asked coming down with a picture walking over to them showing them the picture as they stayed quiet.

"That is your Aunt Kaitlin." Harry told her sitting her down in his lap. "Where is she now." She asked staring at him. "She alive still?" Everest asked as he took a deep breath. "No she's not." James told her as she looked at him. "What happened to her." She asked. "Your aunt was really sick-Does she know about me." She asked cutting off Harry.

"I'm sure she does and I'm sure if she was alive she would've loved you and your brothers and sister so much." Harry told her as she smiled. "What was her name again." Everest asked as they smiled. "Kaitlin-Oou like my middle name is my middle name after her." Everest asked as her parents nodded their heads.

"Exactly you are named after you my sister." Harry told her. "What was she like." Everest asked wanting to know more about her. "Well she liked to read all the time and sneak into the kitchen in the middle of the night for snacks." Harry said as she smiled more. "She also didn't like quidditch much she liked to watch it but not play it and she had a fear of heights." James said.

"Really me too." Everest said as they chuckled. "She use to eat dirt when she was little." Elijah said as they laughed. "Oh and collected bugs too." Athena added. "She also tackled someone to the ground before cause they took her food." Hope said as they all laughed.

Come on it was a one time thing and he stole my food you know that.

"Wish I got to meet her she sounds like fun." Everest said letting out a yawn. "Your definition and our definition of fun is very different." Marlene told her as she smiled at her. "Tired." Harry asked her as she nodded her head leaning back on him. "Go to sleep." He whispered to her kissing her head as she closed her eyes.

"Exactly like her." James mumbled under his breath watching his granddaughter sleep on her father as she held onto the picture. "Wonder where she found that picture though I haven't seen it since you moved out." Lily said as Harry smiled.

"I took it when I moved out and when Eve was born I put it in her room so she could have her aunt close. But once she got older I don't know what happened to the picture she must've found it." Harry said as they nodded their heads. "She asleep." He asked as Ginny looked and smiled. "Yeah she is." Ginny told him as he let out a sigh.

"I'm gonna go lay her down I'll be back." He said getting up giving Ginny a kiss. "Be back." He said before walking off with Everest and walked upstairs to her room. He opened her door and walked in laying her down in her bed covering her in her blanket. He gently tried to take the picture from her without waking her up.

He successfully got the picture and placed it on her dresser on the side of her bed. "Dad wait." She said as he looked at her. "What's wrong." He asked her. "Can you hand me my blanket and teddy." She said as he smiled. The blanket use to belong to Kaitlin but he gave it to Everest.

He handed her, her blanket and teddy as he placed a kiss on her forehead. "Goodnight beautiful." He said as she closed her eyes going back to sleep. "Goodnight daddy." She said as he smiled.

Your a good dad Harry.

He walked to the door turning her light off walking out as he shut the door. He walked back downstairs and sat down next to Ginny. "She asleep still." Ginny asked ad he nodded his head. "Yeah she is." He said with a smile.

I miss you guys all.

Every year no matter what they kept their promise and they all had a feeling that someone is watching them and that someone is Kaitlin. They we're right Kaitlin did watch over them every year over her family her nieces and nephews that she never got to meet but she watched over them since they were babies and loved them no matter what.
