Chapter 9

Kaitlin woke up in a dorm that wasn't hers. She looked around and looked down and saw she wasn't in the dress anymore. She was in somebody else's clothes. She quickly got out of the bed when someone walked in.

"Good your up." Harry said. "Don't worry the girls changed you and I brought you up here to sleep I slept on the spare bed." He told her as she nodded her head. "Everyone is in the great hall so you can head to your dorm and change." He told her as she immediately rushed out to her dorm.

She quickly showered and brushed her teeth getting dressed. She threw on some tights and a skirt over it and a black tee and threw her shoes on and rushed down to the great hall. She walked in as Harry looked at her trying to get her attention but she didn't look at them and went straight over to Ares and Sage. "Morning munchkin." She said kissing Sage's head sitting down next to her. "Where we're you." Ares asked her. "Overslept sorry." She said as he kept staring at her. "What happened between you and Adrian." He asked her.

"He cheated on me." She mumbled. "Speak up Kaitlin." He told her as she sighed. "He cheated on me." She said as he stayed quiet. "It's fine don't worry about it." She told him as he didn't say anything. "I'm gonna be late take Sage to class for me." She said kissing his cheek and Sage before running off to class.

She barged into her class and saw some people she's been avoiding. "Professor so sorry I've overslept won't happen again." She said putting her stuff down. "Kaitlin your five minutes early." Sirius told her. "She knows she always comes in early ain't that right Ms.De Martel and where are your robes and uniform." McGonagall said as her face went red with embarrassment she nodded her head and started on the work. "Sorry professor I forgot we had class today." She said.

"Kaitlin you've been avoiding us." James said walking over to her as she kept her head down continuing her work shaking her head no. "Are you lying?" Sirius asked as she shook her head yes. "Kaitlin why have you've been avoiding us." Lily told her sitting in front of her. "You can tell us." She said. "I can't I'll get in trouble." She said. "But then your lying." "What no fine mom said I can't speak to you guys." She gasped looking up. "You tricked me." She said. "I know but I had to know why you are avoiding us." James told her.

"I'll speak to your mom-No sorry but no don't speak to my mom I have it under control." She said cutting him off. "Kaitlin-Please don't mom is finally happy with me and if she finds out I'm talking to you guys she's gonna be disappointed again." She said cutting off James. "Sorry for cutting you off." She mumbled looking down. "It's alright we won't tell your mom you we're talking to us but talk to me if you need anything." He said as she nodded her head. They walked back over to Minnie looking back at Kaitlin.

"Minnie what did she mean." Sirius asked as she sighed. "Kaitlin seeks her mother's approval and I assume her mother has been pleased with her lately that's what I heard from her sister that their mother has been proud of her lately but I don't think today she'll be proud of her." Minnie said as they all stared at her.

"And why is that." Sirius said as she stayed quiet. "Kaitlin why does your mom not want you speaking to us." Lily asked her softly. "Because she said you guys are blood traitors." She said looking down at the floor. "Kaitlin." James said as she looked up at him. "Are you sure that's why?" James said as she stayed quiet. "Tell us we won't be mad at you." Lily told her. "It's because she found out I stayed with you guy's for break after lying to her so she doesn't want me talking to you anymore."

She said feeling bad. "Kaitlin you could've told me." James said kneeling down next to her desk as she shook her head. "I couldn't my mom would've been mad so please don't bring this up to her-Kaitlin." She heard and turned around to see her brother standing their as James rolled his eyes.

"Are you speaking to them." He said walking in as she immediately shook her head no. "What no-Are you lying cause you know lying is bad Kaitlin." He told her as she stayed quiet. "Yes but their my professors how am I not suppose to speak to them." She said. "Fine I won't tell them but you better not speak to them again." He told her as she nodded her head as he sat down.

"Mr.De Martel your early." Minvera told him. "So is my sister." He said as she stayed quiet not staying anything. "Very well then class will be starting any minute." She said as he pulled out the book. James stood up and walked back over to the others. "I need help me." Kaitlin said. "I can-Let me see." Ares said cutting off James as she got up showing him the paper.

"It's in the book Kaitlin page 52." He told her showing her as she nodded her head. "Thank you." She mumbled before sitting back down in her seat as kids started to fill the classroom up. James and the others walked out to their classrooms as well.
