My name is Sapphire Lynette Woods. I'm a seventeen year old girl with barely any experience of having a boyfriend or friends. The last time I even had boy experience was in sixth grade, and I'm in 12th now. His name was Eric Samuels who is now the star of the football team. He dumped me for his current girlfriend, my nemesis, Jessica Styles.
Who just happens to be the captain of the Cheer Team with the I.Q of a squirrel. Perfect couple you say? You don't have to watch them hang all over each other in the hallway. Which they don't have much choice. Which is where I get to my point.
We all go to this small school called Wesley High. When I say small I mean really small. Only 96 students in total, 9th- 12th. We live in the middle of no where. Deep in the woods and up in the mountains lies our empty town. I thought I was ready to leave this town.
That was until I had a very good reason to stay.
It turns out my town wasn't as boring as I thought it was. And it was even bigger than I imagined. The sun shined a little brighter, and the flowers smelled a little sweeter.
But my life also got turned upside down.
Little did I know the massive catastrophe that was soon to hit me.
And it was all because of him.
