I landed hard on Lucas' front porch.
My foot connected with the door and it busted open and fell to the ground behind me. I marched inside the house, not awaiting permission. Lucas' presence was not far away.
I didn't know how I knew, but I could just feel it. It was like I had a sixth sense. My new sense was guiding me towards him.
I flew down the steps and kicked open the basement door.
Lucas ran towards me, a defensive look on his face. I gripped his shoulder and squeezed hard. He cringed a little. A hot tear ran down my cheek as I trembled.
"We need to talk."

I layed on the couch face up, just staring.
Lucas knew the whole situation now. Where I had been. What had happened. Who I met. And what I did.
Especially what I had become.
"What does it all mean Lucas?"
I turned over to him with confusion in my eyes. He slowly lowered his head and let out a huge sigh.
"You're Marachannah, Anna for short. Goddess of Life and Death. Every time you die, or get yourself killed, you get born again. And that is called Reincarnation. "
"I'm not Anna, I'm Sapphire. And I am not a Goddess. And plus I've only lived seventeen years," I trailed off.
"Have you really though, Sapphire? Think about it. I hate having to go through this every damn time. When does this stop?" Lucas started mumbling to himself.
I slammed my hand on the table, and it shattered beneath my hand. "I don't need your help. I can figure myself out on my own. I don't need your piss pour attempt at telling me who and what I am! Plus I have bigger issues to attend too," I screamed.
"What bigger issues?"
My back was facing him as I started to walk away. But I stopped and turned around, the fire started to expand in me. "Oh I don't know, Lucas! Did you even listen to a word I said, or were you stuck to far up your own ass? Possibly it's because my Dad asked me to kill my Mother? My Dad is just suddenly back in my life. Oh, or maybe it's because the only person who has cared about me in this messed up time is being held captive by my PSYCHO DAD!!"
Lucas mask crumbled. Emotions flooded into his features.
"Krylan?"
I sank down into the floor as the tears cascaded down my face. "Something is wrong with him. It's not him. He.. He..."
Lucas sat down beside me, "He what, Sapphire?"
"He was the one that gave me to my Dad. He kidnapped me and delivered me right to my Dad's feet with a pretty red bow," I shook my head in disbelief and looked back up to Lucas.
His face was hard again. But there was still hatred in his colorful eyes. "There's no saving him, Sapphire," Lucas whispered looking at the wall.
I backed away from him, "How could you say that about your own brother?"
Lucas whipped his head towards me, "He can't be saved because there's nothing to save him from. It's not his first run in with the dark side."
I shot up and Lucas jumped up right after me. "Lucas I saw him! There was no color in his eyes! Literally, his eyes were white!" I shoved him. "How can you give up on family?"
Lucas turned away, "What he did to you? He's no family of mine."
He turned around and strode towards me and grabbed my hands. His eyes were cold, as was his grip for once. "Just because we share the same blood doesn't mean we are family."
I searched his eyes for something. Anything. Anything to hint that these were lies that he was speaking. Very detailed lies. But lies nonetheless.
But there was nothing.
His pupils were an empty, black pit. And his colorful eyes were cold.
My body immediately lit up and I pushed the heat to my hands. They became two balls of fire and Lucas cringed away with a scream.
My eyes ignited as I stared at him in a defensive stance.
And my voice was like Ive never heard before. It was so clear and strong.
So authoritive.
"Sit here and whine. I don't need you. But I'm getting my Krylan back. And no one is going to stop me. And I will kill anyone or anything that gets in my way. And I will not sleep until I get him back."
Lucas shook his head and made a weird sound with his mouth. "Ehhh. I don't know about the sleeping part."
The flames dyed out and I could see clearly again. "What do you mean?"
Lucas leaned back and put his hands behind his head. He tried to prop his feet up on the coffee table, but there was no longer one thanks to me.
"I mean the only way you can get him back is by going to sleep."
