AN- Just some cuteness. I actually find it really hard to write their dynamic but I'm super proud of this one.

Scar POV-

I don't know why it started nor do I remember why we continued doing but, every time Grian hurts himself I'll kiss it better.

I do remember vividly one instance, just after our habit began, I had wandered over to see how Grian's mansion was coming along. When I showed up, he'd asked me to help him doing some terraforming. Of course, I agreed. No one could ignore his pretty smile or his fun personality.

After about an hour of terraforming I looked over to Grian where he looked to be in a lot of pain. I rushed to him as I watched some blood drip off his hands. Grasping his hands, I turn them over. He's calloused hands we so worn from the dirt and concrete that they had begun to bleed. I take him to my base where I wrap them up and told him to take a couple days off building. As he turned to leave, he paused, holding his hands out to me, "kiss them better?" Of course I agreed.

The number of times Grian has hobbled over to my base for me to kiss his injuries better has become to hard to remember. A broken leg. Arrow wound to the shoulder. Burns from an explosion. Even that one time when he had a gash above his eye from DocM77 slugging him. I never hesitated to help him, even if it was kinda dumb. Any excuse to be near him.

I'm enjoying some hot chocolate watching as Iskall and Xisuma wrestling in the late winter snow. Most of the hermits were around. Mumbo was chatting to Etho about redstone. Ren and false were trying to teach doc how to skate. The ZIT crew was having a snowball fight with Cub, Keralis and Bdubs.

Grian was with the rest of the hermits collecting some hot chocolate and cookies. Once he is holding a steaming cup of cocoa I watch him wander towards the bench in on and sit beside me, "hello Scar! How are you doing today." I greet him back and watch as he takes a big gulp of his drink. I watch pain flash on his face and he spits the drink back into the cup, holding me mouth open to the cool air, "hot. Hot! Ouch. I think I burnt my tongue."

"Oh Grian, you're always getting yourself hurt." I laugh as I take the bus away from him and set it on the bench.

"Oh but Scar... I always have you to kiss it better... you're not planning on bailing on our little tradition?"

I flush bright red knowing that he's pretty much begging me to kiss him. I glance around the area, my blush deepening with everyone being around. I force my eyes back to Grian and they trail down to his lips where a playful smirk sits. My heart beat increases as I lean omg towards towards him and just as we are about to make contact I pull away, shaking. Grian's smirk turns into a confused frown, then to pure terror.

"Oh Scar. I'm so sorry. I thought you felt the same way. I thought that maybe..." grian's now blushing face turns away in shame as he mutters one last line, "I burnt my mouth for nothing."

"I'm sorry Grian. I don't know what happened there. I just can't do it." My hands are shaking and my frazzled brain isn't processing what Grian just said.

"No no. I'm the ones who's sorry. Did you not just hear what I said? If you don't like me I'll just go and keep this from being more awkward."

He's standing up. He's picking up his cup of cocoa. He's walking away. Wait... my brain has just finally processed what Grian has said originally. He likes me. I need to do something. He's getting further away, "Grian! Wait!" My yells get everyone's attention but I don't care anymore. Grian has stopped walking away but isn't turning towards me so I walk towards him. The winter day silent as everyone stares at us confused. I carefully talk on of his hands in mine to run him around.

"The reason I couldn't just do what you asked me. But it wasn't because I don't like you. I had panicked. Cause I love you Grian."

I could hear Stress giggling near by but I was too focused on Grian to care what others think, "Grian... can I kiss your injury better?"

His face matches his sweater and my face is probably similar as my hand reaches up to Grian's cheek. It's warm and his slightly flinches as my cold touch. I lean and lightly place a kiss on his lips and just as he kisses back I pull away. Cheers roar behind us, but I'm in my own world. Standing here with my love in the snow. He gazed into my eyes and leans in, kissing me again, his arms wrapping around my waist and pulling me into the warmth of his body.

I rest my head on his shoulder and just sink into his embrace, "promise me Grian, you won't burn your mouth again on purpose." He just chuckled and lead me back to the bench so that we could enjoy the chaos of the hermits together.
