Chapter 3

Recap:
Rydel's Point Of View: "Hey guys guess what!" I say very cheerfully. " What! They all mimic me in sinc."

"Hailey said that I'm her favorite person!" Once I say that Hailey hides her head into my chest, I'm guess it's because she's scared of what they are going to say.

"Hailey!..." Riker yells...

Present time:

Hailey's Point Of View:

After Riker yelled at me I started to cry... Rydel said that he wouldn't be mad at me!

"Hailey honey I wasn't trying to- " he stops mid sentence when he sees that I am crying.

He runs over to Rydel and I and tries to take me away from Rydel. I scream at Rydel telling her not to let him take me away, but all she does is kiss my head and let Riker take me.

"Please don't let him take me away and hurt me!" I yelled at Rydel

"Wait Riker, let me see her for a second." Rydel says calmly

Riker hands me back over to Rydel and she hugs me. "Shhhh sweetheart... he's not going to hurt you, I promise." She tells me as calmly as possible.

"O- ok-ay I w-will talk to him." I say through the tears. She hands me over to Riker and I look into his eyes.

"Look sweetheart I wasn't trying to yell at you to be mean, I'm not mad at you or anything... I just thought that I was your favorite." Riker looks at me as he talks.

"I was just scared because I thought that you were going to yell at me and be mad at me and not want to adopt me." I almost yell through the tears that are now falling again.

Riker's Point Of View:
"I was just scared because I thought that you were going to yell at me and be mad at me and not want to adopt me."

As soon as Hailey said that my heart almost broke. Does she really think of me that way? "Hailey-- honey I would never do that... You know that right?" I ask her as I sit down.

"Ya... it's ok Riker, I forgive you." She says hugging me.

"Hailey why don't you go play with some of those toys while I go and talk to Rydel,Rocky,Ross,Ratliff,and Ryland?" I ask her as I set her down on the floor.

She goes to play with her toys while I go over to my siblings + Ellington. "So guys what do you think of her?" I ask them almost in a whisper

"Oh my freaking stars! She's awesome and I love her to pieces!" Rydel almost screamed in my ear loud enough for me to go deaf.

Everyone else said that they love her and think that she's the one. I walk over to Hailey and pick her up. "So Hailey what would you say... if I said that R5 (well really me but) was going to adopt you?"

"OMG REALLY!!! Wait your not joking right?" She asked just to be sure. I shook my head no and she looked like she was about to scream like when I first met her.

"Who do you want to take you up stairs to help you pack?" I asked even though I already knew the answer.

"RYDEL!!!!" She yelled. "LETS GO!!" Rydel yelled. As they went up the stairs I went to go and sign the papers. This is the best day of my life. The day I adopt my daughter...

A/N well here is another chapter... I will probably update maybe tomorrow or something like that. I had lots of fun righting this chapter and I have a lot of fun writing this book.
