Chapter 6

The next morning:

Rocky's Point Of View:

I woke up and saw Hailey awake watching Spongebob Squarepants.
"Hey munchkin whatcha doing?"

"Hi Uncle Rocky! I'm watching sponge bob silly." she says giggling. "Hey do you want to go shopping to get you some new clothes and to spend some time with your Uncle Rocky?" I asked her hoping she'd say yes.

"Sure, but I should ask daddy or mommy first, are either of them up?" She asked getting up from the coach and walking over to me.

"Umm well I think that Riker might be up but I'm not sure, maybe you should go check." I say as I lightly push her toward the stairs. "Oh and I'll start breakfast!" I yelled after her.

Hailey's Point Of View:
After I talk to Uncle Rocky I go upstairs and walk into daddy's room. He was playing on his phone. "Hi daddy." I say hoping to get his attention.

"Hey baby girl, what's up?" He asks sitting up and looking at me.

"I wanted to ask you if I could go shopping with Uncle Rocky. He said that he wanted to take me shopping to get new clothes and bonding time or something like that." I tell him hoping he'd say yes.

"Umm ya sure baby girl if you want to. Make sure you get dressed first cause I went to your old adoption center and they gave me some clothes that they had stored for you."

"Ok daddy do you want to help me get dressed? Or should mommy do it?"

"Well sweetie Rydel isn't awake yet so I'll help you and then if you want you can wake her up." he tells me standing up and starting toward mine and momma's room, being sure to put a finger on his lips signaling to be quite.

I nod in agreement. We walk in and quickly grab anything and everything we need for the day and go back to Riker's room.

I get dressed into my new clothes for the day. It was a black shirt with lime green lettering that said: My favorite uncle loves green. With that I had jean pants on with Nike hightops. I also had a Smile sweatshirt for later in case it gets cold.

I walk downstairs and meet Uncle Rocky for breakfast. I eat fast since I'm really hungry and then go upstairs to try and wake up Rydel.

I walk into our room and sit on her bed. "Mommy! Mommy! Wake up!" I tell her not being loud but not being quite.

She sits up and yawns while rubbing her eyes. "Hi baby." she says as she goes to her closet. "Why are you all dressed and ready like your going to go somewhere?" She asks. "Cause I'm going with Uncle Rocky to the mall to go get new clothes and then quite possibly get some ice cream."

She nods her head in approval. "Ok have fun and I'll see you when you get back ok? I love you! And don't forget to wear a sweater for when it gets cold!" she yells as I run downstairs to catch up to Uncle Rocky. "Wait Uncle Rocky I almost forgot.

I run back inside into mine and mommy's room. I run up to her and give her a big bear hug. "Sorry mommy I almost forgot." Then I run into daddy's room and say bye to him. Once I get back downstairs Uncle Rocky is already ready to put me in my car seat.

*At the mall*

Rocky's Point Of View:
We have been in the mall for a grand total of 4 hours. Now we are going to car. "Hey Hailey where do you want to go next?" I ask her as I strap her in to her car seat. "Ice Cream! Ice Cream!" She yells and I smile. We drive to our favorite ice cream place Dairy Queen. "What flavor would you like sweetheart?" The guy behind the counter says. "Umm can I pwease have Reese Peanut Butter Cup?" she asks. He nods and then asks me what I want. "and for you sir?"

I look at the menu and say "umm can I get a chocolate chip cookie dough." Hailey walks over and pulls on my arm. she motions for me to bend down so she can whisper in my ear."Can we get the I L❤️ve Mommy cake? Pwease I want to get mommy something oh and can we get daddy's favorite ice cream?" She whispers in my ear.

I nod and order those. we go sit at a booth and wait till our order is ready. 45 minuets later we grab everything and get back in the car driving straight home so all this stuff doesn't melt.

Stormie's Point Of View:
Once Hailey and Rocky left I started to clean the house as always. While I was cleaning the pool I heard a huge splash and the next thing I know I'm drenched in water. "RIKER!" I yell. Riker comes running over not even the least bit wet. "ROSS!" I yell again. "What did I do now?!?" He wasn't wet either. "RY-" before I could yell at my youngest son I saw the victim swimming towards me under the water. My husband. "MARK!" I growl. "Yes my beautiful wife? Who loves me. Please remember that before you do anything." He begs.

Fine then he's gonna play it that game well so am I. I run inside and get my swimsuit on. then I go and jump into the pool when he least expects it.

By this all of my kids had their swimsuits on and were in the pool.

We had a good time swimming around and splashing each other.Soon we heard the front door open and in walked Hailey and Rocky. "Great Hailey they're having a pool party without us!" Rocky says.

By this time Hailey had already went upstairs and already had her swimsuit on. We all laugh as she jumps into the pool. For the rest of the day we just hung out in the pool and had fun as a family.

A/N: In this chapter I decide to have some Hailey and Rocky time. Next chapter might have some time with all of R5.
