Chapter 10: Part 1

Hailey's Point Of View:
"Today is my birthday!!!! And I'm so excited." I yell as soon as I get up from my bed. I couldn't sleep that much last night cause I was sooooo excited for my birthday today.

I got out of my bed and got dressed into my "It's My Birthday And I'm 5 Years Old!!!" shirt, my favorite jean pants,my favorite purple socks, and my signature purple Nike hightops.

I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. I was really hungry, but no one else was awake to help me get some food. I moved a chair to get on the counter, so I could get cereal. I had to stand on my tippy toes to reach the cereal I wanted, but just as I was about to get it I started to fall backward.

I hit the floor and landed on my right side of my body. I started crying and screaming like I was dying or something. My arm and leg hurt really bad and I couldn't get up or I would have. "Wow what a great way to start off my birthday!" I thought. Note The Sarcasm.

Riker's Point Of View:
I woke up around 11:30 and got up to take a shower. Today is Hailey's birthday and I have a really big surprise for her. She absolutely loves Laura and she hasn't seen her in forever so I asked Laura if she would help me by surprising Hailey.

I got all my stuff together for my shower and walked out of my room. As soon as I walked out the door I heard a blood thrilling scream. I ran downstairs and followed the sound. I ran into the kitchen and found my little baby on he ground with a bunch of Cheerios on the floor around her.

I rushed over to her side and picked her up. "Aww sweetheart what happened?!?" I asked her bringing her to the coach. "I w-was t-t-trying to-o get-t s-s-some breakf-fast and I-I fell." she said crying. "Well are you hurt?" I asked her. She nodded her head so I grabbed my keys,some shoes,and my phone and ran out the door.

I drove down to the hospital and ran inside. "Hi yes my daughter is in serious pain and she needs to see a doctor." I said to the lady at the desk.

"Ok let's get you into the emergency room so we can get her checked out."
She said letting me into the emergency room.

I ran in and sat my baby girl on the table thing. Doctors kept rushing in the room trying to get to Hailey to see what's wrong. I just walked out into the waiting room and looked at my phone.

I had 3 new messages. All 3 just happen to be from my mom freaking out because she doesn't know where I went and where Hailey was. I texted her back saying: Mom it's ok we are just at the hospital. I'm waiting in the waiting room to see what's wrong.

*1 hour later*

I guess I fell asleep in the waiting room cause I was woken up by my mom when the doctor came. I jumped up and rushed over to the doctor. "Are you Mr.Lynch? Father of Hailey Sophia Lynch?" he asked me.

I nod my head as he continues. "We have done everything we can..."
