Chapter 9

A/N: This is going to be an extra long chapter with lots of switching in POV's...
Rydel's Point Of View:
I woke up this morning and didn't remember a thing that happened last night and my head hurt. Was I drunk? Again? I don't know what happened yesterday but I think I yelled at Riker.

I sat up and saw that Hailey wasn't in my room. I wonder why...

Riker's Point Of View:
I woke up this morning to Hailey laying on my bare chest. I smiled and took a picture of us. I started playing Candy Crush on my phone for 2 hours until Hailey woke up, being sure to check Twitter and Instagram every once in a while.

"Hey princess." I tell her as she yawns and picks up head up.

"Hi daddy." she tells me as I sit up with her in my lap. I pick her up and take her downstairs.

"What would you like for breakfast love?" I ask her setting her on the counter.

"Can I pwease have eggs and french toast?" she asks in that adorable voice of hers.I nod and start making her request. When I'm done I set her in her high chair and give her, her food then I make mine. "Daddy can I go to Austin & Ally with Uncle Ross?" she asks me after we finish breakfast.

"Sure sweetheart, then tomorrow if you want you can come with me to the water park or you can go hang out at grandma's house." I told her. I picked her up and carried her upstairs to get ready for today. As we past Rydel's room (since we moved Hailey into her own room) I saw her sitting with her face in her hands.

"Hailey sweetheart why don't you go pick out your outfit for today and get ready for your bath while I go talk to Rydel?" I said setting her down so she could go to her room.

"Sure daddy" she says and skips to her room. I walked into Rydel's room and sit on her bed next to her.

"What's wrong Rydel?" I ask her. She lifts her head up and I finally notice her barely tear stained cheeks.

"What exactly happened last night?" She asks me.

"You don't remember?" She nods her head no and finally looks at me.

"I think that I may or may not have been drunk last night..." She trailed off. I stand up really quick like I'm about to yell but then I do something that no know expected me to do. I hugged my little sister and started to explain last night.

"Well last night when you were drunk apparently. I took Hailey and Ellington roller skating and I wasn't paying attention to my phone so we lost track of time, but when I did finally look at my phone I saw like 20 texts telling me that I better get home before you start going insane and I don't know what Ryland was talking about because he must not of been here because he was acting completely normal. Then when I DID get here you started yelling at me saying "I want to know why you think it's ok to leave my daughter out past her bedtime" and things like that so I just went upstairs. I am going to say this once and once only ok? Hailey is MY daughter and you are her aunt unless she calls you otherwise ok?" I explained the whole story and old her how I felt.

She nodded her head and started crying.

"I'm sorry Riker it just felt good to feel needed for once." I sighed.

"Rydel everyone here loves you so much and we all need you, you just need to know when to not help or to stay out of things. I wasn't trying to be mean or make you upset I was just trying to get my point acr-" I started to say before I was interrupted by my daughter.

"Daddy!" She yelled

"It's ok princess I'm coming" I yelled back.

"I gotta go." I say kissing Rydel's forehead and walking to Hailey's room.
