I was meant to be like this

Bleeding out at the age of 10

If I were truly a man you'd think
I was stabbed or shot but instead
I had just became a woman

I woman who was to young to know what
The blood meant

I hadn't even been taught about the devilish monthly blood yet

I thought I was just Bleeding so I didn't
Tell my grandma

My mom was probably drinking or something do you know how sad it is to have the sudden on-set of womanhood without your mother?

I had a friend over too
Do you know how embarrassing it is to hear you're grandma say "who's got their period?" And having to ask what that meant and having to admit it was you?

You ,who was Bleeding out between you're legs

That moment was truly a turning point I remember being the first girl to get her period people behind me said I "smelled like baby powder" I'll never forget that I was in class

To see you're boobs grow,
random hair growth?

Before you even knew what it meant
