Eula: "Come along, as I do not intend to spend the night out here in the cold, that would risk my befalling illness and thus losing my standing with the Knights because of it!"

She said this to me as she had one of her arms wrapped around my back and placed upon my shoulder that was furthest from her, as she walked me away from the gate that led out of the city that I had almost made my way through before she discovered me, and instead now she was leading me towards her home... apparently.

There was no dialogue between us as we walked, I didn't know exactly what to say and it seemed that Eula didn't feel the need to fill the silence at all either... so for a short while we just walked, with Eula continuing to lead the way whilst her arm stayed wrapped around me. The subtle squeeze she was applying from this hold wasn't that of which a captive would apply to their captor... but rather, it felt really quite comforting: after so long of being alone, afraid to interact with people – this simple interaction had me feeling safe and warm for the first time in a long while...

And then, upon reaching what I presumed to be her home, she took back her arm from its resting place around me, and then she obtained her key to unlock the door of which she used to unlock and open the door. After opening, she walked through into the entryway of her home, and then she turned back to face me again.

Eula: "Well? You are coming in, are you not?"

Y/N: "... t–thanks"

Unable to say much else, I quietly thank Eula for her hospitality and walk into the threshold of her home. It... It wasn't exactly how I imagined it would look, for someone who seems to exude such a pompous aura and is seemingly of noble blood... it's quite comfy and warm in here.

*KACLUNK*

Having now entered Eula's abode, she deemed it fit to close and lock the door behind us. Given recent events, I would probably have started to worry again – that I had been locked up again and was being placed under watch... but for some reason, it didn't seem to trigger any fight or flight response at all... maybe because of how gentle Eula had been bringing me here?

Eula: "Are you just going to stand and gawk at my possessions, or would you allow me to show you where you will be resting for tonight?"

Y/N: "r–Right... sorry... L–Lead the way then, please."

Eula: "... You need not worry, you know? I do not plan to harm you here, and if you really want to leave, then you may. But I will take offence to you suggesting that the dirt and rock you normally sleep on is better accommodations than I can offer."

Y/N: "I– huh? I wasn't going to say anything like that! I promise!"

Eula: "Hmm... Alright then. Follow me."

Eula then led me away from the hallway we were standing in and then she led me towards a locked door, but the lock had its key just sitting in it. So Eula reached down and twisted the key, unlocking the door, she then pushed it open and gestured for me to walk in. So I did.

I half expected Eula to just shut the door behind me and lock me in... but instead she followed me in and she took the key out of the keyhole and held it out towards me...?

Eula: "It is only proper for the owner of a room to be the one who can lock and unlock it, no?"

Y/N: "Owner?! But I thought I was just here for the night?"
