Adley's POV
When I walk into the Alto bar, Maia always allows me in since we're close, I see uncle Simon playing guitar and singing and I sit up front. He notices me and smiles and nods so I smile back at him. Maia comes up to me and I look up at her.
"Hey, you have one talented uncle." Maia tells me "I have one cool uncle too." I tell her and she laughs. When uncle Simon finishes his song we all clap and he sits down next to me.
"Nice playing, it was beautiful." I tell him "Thank you, Adley" Uncle Simon says to me.
"Hey, how's everything going with Caspian?" He asks me
"Better, we're getting back to normal. Just very slowly" I inform him
"Good because if you go to fast and he hurts you again he's more than a dead man." Thanks uncle Simon and I get a call from uncle Alec.
"Hey, what's up?" I ask him "Have you heard from Izzy? I haven't seen her all day and I need to talk to her." Uncle Alec asks me "No actually, I'm with uncle Simon right now so I'll see if he's seen her." I look at him and he looks worried. "Uncle Simon hasn't seen her either." Than I get a call from mom. "Gotta go mom's calling me. Hope you find her" I hang up and answer mom's call.
"Hey honey, have you heard from aunt Izzy? I'm worried because my parabatai rune is going off." Mom asks me
"Ok, uncle Alec asked me if I've seen her. I said no, I'll come to the Institute and help you look for her." I tell mom
"Thank you honey, come quick." Mom tells me and I hang up.
"Ok aunt Izzy's missing, we need to go now." Uncle Simon's face goes pale right away. We run back to the institute and say bye to Maia. When we run in mom is freaking out while touching her parabatai rune.
"We found her!" Someone in the institute says and brings aunt Izzy in and she's hurt. Mom and uncle Alec are the first to get to her and the rest of us come.
"Izzy what happened?" Mom asks her as she holds her hand. "Demon attack, I was out getting errands done and I wasn't focused. I'll be ok, it's just a quick scratch. Did the ruin go off?" Aunt Izzy asks mom
"Yes, I was extremely worried Iz. Are you sure you're ok?" She asks her "Clary, I'll be ok" Aunt Izzy tells her and mom let's her hand go and two Shadowhunters take her to the hospital room.
"We have to go with her Alec." Mom tells him "Yeah think" Uncle Alec says "Sorry, let's go" They run to the hospital room with uncle Simon and tell us to stay here until there are updates.
"Will aunt Izzy be ok?" I ask dad and uncle Magnus. "She'll be ok, she's tough." Dad tells me and I start to panic anyways and he hugs me.
"But mom's parabatai rune went off. That never means anything good." I remind them and dad hugs me tighter which isn't helping. "I'm just going to train." I inform them and they let me go. I really hope aunt Izzy will be ok.
