Adley's POV
"Adley Herondale, what a pleasure." Eve starts "So, are you having fun with my son. Twisting his mind into thinking you're so wonderful and kind. I know all about you and your horrible and evil family. No one should trust a Herondale, ever. That goes for everyone else in your family too." Eve hates on my family and I have never felt so angry.

"Don't you DARE talk about my family like that. You don't know anything about us. You just want to be angry at something to feel like you have power. Well you don't have any. Us as a family have more power than you ever will. You're alone and I'm not. That's my power. Also I am not twisting your son you are. I'm helping Caspian, we all are." I show her up

"Well Mr. Lightwood, seems like your niece has a mouth on her. You should teach her some respect. She's out of control" Eve says to uncle Alec and he looks at her angrily.

"You talk about my niece like that and you will never be able to speak again." Uncle Alec threatens her

"Aren't you guys cute and all happy together. That doesn't last long, believe me." Eve is such a bitch.

"That sounds more like a you problem than a problem for us." I say back to her and uncle Alec and I finally leave her alone and we find Caspian.

"So, how did that go?" Caspian asks us "You're mom is in the dark. I'm so sorry Caspian" I apologize for the way his mom is.

"You don't need to apologize Adley, she does. She's vial and cruel, I don't think I've ever met anyone more vicious than her." Caspian informs me and I hug him and he hugs me back.

"What about Octavius Lovegood?" Uncle Alec brings up and we look at him. "Ok he's a close second. No one can compare to her." Mom and dad come up to us and see look on Caspian's face.

"Caspian what's wrong? Is it your mom?" Mom asks him "Adley and Alec just talked to her." Caspian informs them

"What? Adley you went down there?!" Dad says at me angrily because he knows how dangerous she is. "I tried to stop her but she insisted." Caspian mentions to my dad.

"Well thank you for trying Caspian. Adley next time you talk to her come with us. She has some tricks up her sleeve to help herself." Dad demands me

"I will, I'm sorry but I just couldn't help it. Knowing she's down there and not having to say anything to her that deserves to be said. You know I don't hold back on my words." I defend myself

"We know honey and you're very brave for that but you're still in training as a Shadowhunter. You need to be careful. Thank you Alec for going down with her." Mom thanks him

"Of course, I wouldn't let her go alone for anything." Uncle Alec assures mom and dad.

"Caspian how are you doing?" Mom asks him "Angry at her, more than ever. If that's even possible, I'm going to go train to get the edge off. Thank you guys for your help and being there for me. I really appreciate it everything you guys have done for me." Caspian thanks us and we all smile at him.

"Of course, you're apart of our family. Do you want me to train with you? I could get out some frustration as well." I offer him

"Sure, I'll try and go easy on you." Caspian messes with me "Oh no, I'll try and go easy on you." I push back and we grab the training rods and go in the biggest training room in the whole institute. I hope he's feeling safe with us because his mom is here. I hope he always feels safe with us, no matter what.
