"So? How'd it go?" Chuck asked as soon as Raphael and Zachariah left.

"Could I please recover first?" You said from the couch. Despite Raphael waiting until you felt better, the flight home was worse on you than the first one. You have never felt so off in your life. Your limbs felt like jello, your head was spinning, and it was becoming increasingly difficult to keep your eyes open. Chuck had to get you a warm, wet towel to put on your head while you lay on the couch. "I will gladly tell you everything when I don't feel like I'm going to puke at any second."

"I thought that blessing on your hand would have healed you by now," Chuck laughed, sitting on the floor next to you.

"It is doing its job, Chuck," you sighed. "I'd be in a coma right now if it weren't for this blessed thing." You opened your eyes and raised a brow at Chuck. "How do you know that the Blessing has a healing factor? Raphael told me before we met."

"Lucky guess." Chuck shrugged.

You groaned and closed your eyes again. "Bullshit."

Chuck chuckled and stood up, turning away from you. "Here, I'll get you some water, Tylenol, and a book." You hummed as Chuck left the room to get you water. Chuck was planning on letting you rest and recover while he finished writing the draft for the next Supernatural book. He was still finishing the one where Dean got abandoned five years in the future. Chuck was thinking of calling it 'The End' even though he had a lot of plans for the Winchester boys in the next few months.

Despite what his children believe, Chuck doesn't want the apocalypse to transpire. Hell, he only joked about Lucifer destroying the human race when it got out of hand. It isn't his fault that his sons took things out of proportion, right? Maybe it was but only time could tell at this point. He needed to see how his sons would react and hope that the Winchesters could change Michael and Lucifer's minds. It worked out with his trial run, Castiel, but this might have been a bit of a jump. Chuck would get involved but he was afraid. Afraid of seeing his sons again and their reactions to what he's been doing. It was selfish, he'll admit it, but he's not sure how much they wanted to see him.

Besides, things were good where he was. He had a home, was living amongst his favourite creations, and he got to follow his favourite storyline. Yeah, he put himself in the narrative when he promised himself he wouldn't interfere but he just wanted the boys to win so what's the worst that could happen. Of course, now he had to keep an eye on you too since there was just something that didn't sit quite right with him about you. You had this knowing look in your eye and you tended to stop yourself from saying a lot of things. It annoyed Chuck to no end thinking that you knew something he didn't and, let's face it, you did. Maybe he could turn your water into a tasteless truth serum.

No, that's a bad idea... isn't it?

Yeah, maybe he shouldn't do that.

"Hey," Chuck said your name as he poured you a glass of water. "There's something I need to talk to you about and it can't wait for you to recover."

"Why?" you groaned from the other room. "I'd be happy to talk about whatever you need but I'm in pain..."

"I know, I know," Chuck said as he walked back into the livening room, water cup in hand. "But it's important."

You groaned as you sat up and took the cup of water from Chuck, thanking him. "Alright, if it's that important, I'll do my best to answer."

"I know you're hiding something from me," Chuck said, watching your reaction carefully. You paused before the water touched your lips and stared up at Chuck. He could hear your heart start to beat faster and saw fear flash through your eyes. Chuck also knew that your palms were starting to feel clammy as you looked up at him. "What are you hiding from me?"
