"You can not convince me that the Winchesters being here is a good idea," Raphael sniffed as he tied a rubber tourniquet on your upper arm. "They will interfere."

"Not if we tie them down," you snorted, relaxing your arm as Raphael took one of the clear syringes from the table next to him. "Besides, they used the Blood Oath against me, I have to let them witness this."

"I'm surprised they were able to find that loophole," Raphael commented, inspecting the syringe to make sure it was completely sterilized.

"I'm not," you said, snorting. "Sam and Dean have been finding loopholes and dodging the law for most of their lives, they're pretty intelligent when it comes to stuff like this. Common sense, on the other hand, could use some work."

"Agreed," Raphael hummed, bringing the needle close to your skin. "Hold still."

You and Raphael were able to slate off some time to finally perform your experiment. Via Elementary-School-Science-Fair-Rules, you made your own hypothesis and order of experimentation. The question was whether your blood would affect vampires the same way Dead Man's Blood would and you believed that your blood would affect the vampires but it won't be as potent as actual Dead Man's Blood. You ran it by Raphael to see what he thought and got the green light. The plan was to test three different vials of blood on the vampire, one with your regular blood another with the blood from your corpse body and the last from an actual dead man, that blood being your control test. Raphael handled the rest of the details of the experiment.

The vampire would be strapped to the nearby medical chair with restraints of Raphael's own creation. Every single millimetre of the space you were using would be sterilized to Raphael's qualifications so the blood and effects of the experiment wouldn't be influenced by outside sources. The two of you were even in scrubs to be as thorough as possible. You didn't mind, Raphael wanted to make the experiment as successful as he could and this just so happened to be his way of doing it. Besides, the scrubs were actually really comfortable. No wonder nurses wore them.

"Hey," Dean's muffled voice sounded from behind the door followed by some banging at the door. "Special delivery."

"The door is unlocked," Raphael called after a quiet groan. You snicked at Raphael's reaction as he drew a small vial of blood from your arm. "So... nice of you to join us," Raphael said, attempting to be civil as the door opened. You glanced at the boys and snorted at the bright pink scrubs Raphael's Grace put them in the second they stepped into the room.

"What the Hell?" Dean cursed as he hauled the squirming bag into the room, glancing down at his new attire. "Really?" Dean snapped, glaring at Raphael as the Archangel calmly pulled the needle out of your arm and undid the rubber tourniquet.

"It is precautionary, Dean Winchester," Raphael said, barely sparing Dean a glance. "I worked hard to sterilize this area and I will not have you and your contaminated clothes ruin my hard efforts."

"We have the vampire," Sam said, giving Dean a quick disapproving glance. "Didn't sedate him, just like you asked," Sam said your name, nodding at you.

"Thanks, Sam," you said, giving him a smile as Raphael grabbed the next syringe. "I bet it must have been a bitch to deal with."

"He was loud," Dean huffed, kicking the wiggling duffle bag he and Sam dragged in. "Cas had to use some mojo to keep him in the damn bag."

"Where is Castiel?" you asked, realizing that the Seraph was not currently in the room with you. You figured that at least Dean would have brought him with but Castiel was nowhere to be seen. "Didn't he come in with you two?"

"You know him," Dean huffed, giving you a forced smile. "Off doing his own thing without letting us know."

"Castiel is informative," Raphael said, finishing his inspection of the second syringe. "If he did not inform you of where he was going, it could have left an irreversible consequence if gone unchecked." Raphael looked at you and nodded. Taking a deep breath, you closed your eyes and shifted your skin from living to dead. Since Death revealed your death, you started practicing so you would change on a whim should you end up in a situation that called for you to be a corpse rather than a human. "Thank you."
