"That should be very one," Rabbi Hoffman said after convincing the Hotel Manager into the convention hall. "I suppose you want me in there as well?"
"If it's alright with you," you said, nodding. "I don't want you to get hurt considering your injury. Besides, a man with your expertise would be good to have with the civilians and the three idiots that know about this side of the world. Chuck could also use a hand."
"Chuck?" Rabbi Hoffman raised a brow.
"Sorry," you said, shaking your head. "I'm used to calling him Chuck instead of Carver."
"I see," the Rabbi said, nodding, "he's the writer."
"...He's a little more than that," you said through your teeth. "I don't know how much I'm allowed to say without getting smote. Or is it smitted..?"
"Smote," Raphael confirmed with a chuckle. "Be wary, someone is approaching. I believe it's the Winchesters."
Sure enough, when you turned around, Sam and Dean Winchester were approaching. They didn't look as dejected as they did when you chewed them out, but there wasn't that confident skip in their step anymore. But, the boys did look like they had a plan and they were followed by a very confused actress from the LARPing part of the convention. She was the same woman Dean was flirting with before they caught wind of the case. Just by watching the scene, you knew exactly what they were planning. They wanted to use that poor woman as a way to scare the children enough to open the doors for one of the boys to slip through the doors and burn the bodies. Just like they did in the show. Unfortunately, it didn't work in the episode because the woman left her phone on. Luckily, you were there now and knew at least one outcome.
"So, you guys have figured something out?" You asked, eying the woman. "Care to actually let me in on it?"
"Are you going to hold that over us for the rest of the night?" Dean asked, rolling his eyes.
"Only when lives aren't at stake," you answered, crossing your arms. "What's the plan, boys?"
"This is Alice," Sam said, introducing the actress.
"And she's going to be playing the role of Leticia Gore for us," Dean added on. "We're going to have her call to the little ghosts and scare them. Mama did kill the little psychos and keep them at bay all this time. They have to be scared of the woman."
Rabbi Hoffman stepped forward and nodded. "That they were. Leticia terrified them."
"Alice will get the kids to open the doors so you and I can slip out," Sam continued with a nod. "We'll salt and burn their bones while Dean stays by Alice in case things go sideways."
"That leaves me with the convention and a salt-lined room, correct?" Rabbi Hoffman asked, raising a brow. The boys confirmed it and the Rabbi nodded, approving the plan.
"So, Alice," you said, looking at the poor girl, "you're okay with helping us?"
"Will it get us all out of here?" She asked. You tilted your hand side to side with your palm down, the universal sign of I have no fucking clue but it could work. "Good enough for me."
"Alright," you said, nodding. "Turn your phone off, we can't risk it going off while you're talking to those ghosts." Alice quickly pulled out her phone and shut it off in front of you. She showed you the turned-off phone before pocketing it. "Let's get to work."
Your group split up in different directions. Rabbi Hoffman went into the convention hall with the promise of Chuck's safety and two large tubes of salt. Lined the room with salt while Chuck distracted the convention-goers and the hotel staff. The few hotel staff that saw him didn't question the Rabbi. They were always aware of some superstitions he had and guessed that the room was being salted because of those superstitions. Dean and Alice went in the direction of the library with Alice looking scared out of her mind. You and Sam made your way to the front doors and braced yourselves. In your room, you had a few standard things for hunting. Rock salt, a shotgun, silver bullets, a handgun, a silver knife, and Holy Water (blessed by Raphael himself) were all in a bag you kept in the closet. Sam told you that you didn't need to get your things, he had the Impala's keys. You two weren't going to backtrack when there were weapons on the way to the cemetery. The tricky part was getting out of the hotel without losing a leg.
