Asmodeus shoved you into the room, keeping his hand on the back of your neck so you wouldn't try anything. The room was freezing and smelled of corpses. The two demon corpses that Sam undoubtedly killed were probably the main cause of it. You then remembered that Sam could kill those demons because he drank a shit-tone of demon blood, making you all but pray that Lucifer wouldn't make you get close enough to Sam to smell his breath. Sam and Dean were both staring at you, confused and scared for your safety. Lucifer walked up to you and gave you a once-over before frowning.
"So she threw up the drug," Lucifer commented before raising his gaze to Asmodeus. "What took so long?"
"She decided to run," Asmodeus replied.
"A smart choice on her behalf," Lucifer hummed, ripping you away from Asmodeus' grip. "Another mistake on yours."
"Oh," you laughed, trying to pull away from Lucifer's chilled touch. "Don't blame him for your fucking mistakes."
"What did you say to me?" Lucifer growled, head snapping in your direction.
"The lack of guards, not bothering to tighten my cuffs?" you listed. "And to think I thought you were a professional."
Lucifer growled at your insults and threw you into one of the broken chairs, keeping you still with his Grace. "How's that for restraining you?"
"Better," you snapped, grinning. "Still a little loose."
"What are you doing?" Dean growled, shocked that you would actually taunt the Devil.
"Having some fun in, what is possible, the last few moments of my life," you chuckled, raising a brow. "What the Hell are you doing?"
"Sammy's here to say yes," Lucifer said, waving Asmodeus away. "Can you believe that?"
"Finally taking my advice, huh?" You asked Sam, raising a brow as Sam nodded. You huffed and rolled your eyes, pulling against Lucifer's Grace with no success. "Now, of all times, Sam? Are you fucking insane? Don't answer that," you huffed when Sam actually went to say something. "You two are idiots."
"Look, Judgment Day's a runaway train," Sam said to both you and Lucifer. "We get it now. We just want off."
"Meaning?" Lucifer asked, pressing a finger against his lips.
"Deal of the century," Sam said, straightening up. "I give you a free ride, but when it's all over, I live, they live," Sam gestured to you and Dean, "you bring our parents back-"
"Okay, can we please drop the telenovela?" Lucifer interrupted. "I know you have the rings, Sam."
There was a dramatic pause as Sam and Dean registered Lucifer's words. Sam looked shocked for a split second before trying to return to a negotiable tone. You could have sworn that you heard Sam's heart start to hammer in his chest from where you were. Dean, on the other hand, looked terrified. It almost looked like he was about to cry. An idea popped into your head as a way to try and stall Lucifer so you could get out of there.
"Rings?" you questioned, raising a brow. "What the fuck are old rings supposed to do to the Devil, boys."
"I have no idea what you're talking about," Sam whispered, ignoring you.
"Aw, did they not let you in on their little plan?" Lucifer taunted, walking up behind you. You shivered when Lucifer gripped your shoulders, partially out of the cold of his finger and partly out of fear. "I guess you were right, little dove," Lucifer hummed into your ear. "They don't care enough about you." Lucifer dug his thumbs into your shoulder and slowly circled them, making you wince as he poked your pressure points. "Sam and Dean have been Hunting the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and stealing their rings. Those funny little things can open and close the door to that Godforsaken cage where I spent the last 200 millennia." Lucifer lifted his head away from your ear and pouted at Sam. "Any of this ring a bell?" Sam was silent as he stared at Lucifer, rigid with fear. "Come one, Sam," Lucifer huffed, gripping your shoulders tight enough to make you yelp. "I've never lied to you, you could at least pay me the same respect."
