Ian was moving fast. The next thing he would be doing is proposing to me.

He said he loved me and asked me to move in.

The next big thing we would do in our relationship was sex.

If he was a commitment phobia in Light Falls, he had done a complete 180, wanting to be with me all the time. Picking me up for work and taking me out to eat or taking me to his apartment that still felt like a clinical lab. I knew it was an expensive penthouse, but it was not cozy at all. Even when the topic of moving in with one another would come back up, I don't know if I would want to live in that apartment.

The daily meetings on the novel had seized to exist since we had gotten through all the chapters that were written, which meant I was working with Mandy a lot more on tedious writing samples. "

Jerry wants to see you" Marge paged me before lunch, and I had a feeling it was going to be Ian waiting for me. Ian's mother, Evelyn, was right when she laughed at hearing Jimmy doing any work. I walked past Patricia, no longer being buzzed in by her when I dropped in.

"Jimmy," I say, shock coming up on my face.

"Thought it would have been Ian?" he asks, laughing at my facial expression.

"I guess so," I say, shrugging.

"He will be here soon. He is usually a little late," he says, looking at me and my eyebrows shoot up.

"Hmm... He had always been early for our daily meetings," I said, smiling at him.

"I wonder why" Jimmy puffs out and laughs. I had a feeling he was the type of guy that would ride around in his golf cart smoking a Cuban cigar.

"Hey," Ian says, locking his eyes on mine when he steps through the office. "What's up?" he asks Jimmy, and I had a feeling Ian was not the one who scheduled this meeting.

"We want to make a press announcement the day before Love Letter; we want to reveal your true identity," Jimmy says, waiting for Ian's reaction.

"Okay," Ian says, his eyes flickering to mine to see what I thought.

"Wouldn't that kill more sales after they find out he has been lying about who he is?" I ask Jimmy.

"Are you kidding? Look at that face, and after they find out this is a true story... It will be a buying frenzy. Maybe the book of the year," Jimmy says, laughing.

"Why am I here then?" I ask.

"After the book has been out for a month or so, we want to set up a book tour traveling around doing book readings. Normal stuff that most authors do," he says.

"Okay?" I say, still confused why I am here.

"We want you to be his fill-in agent for me... These bones are not made for traveling," he says.

"When would the book drop?" I ask.

"The announcement would be made two days before Thanksgiving, and the book release date would be Black Friday. The book has a good holiday romance story." He says it like it is a make-believe novel that never happened in real life.

"I like it," Ian says, adding what little two cents he has about it.

"When would the book tour be going on?" I ask curiously.

"During the holidays," Jimmy says.
